Director, Executive Compensation

What success looks like in this role:

•   Guides management in making human capital decisions based upon the regional/organization’s strategic goals, financial plan, labor supply, workforce demographics and required workforce competencies.
•   Works closely with the management team to understand and focus on the client’s business strategy.  Influences decisions on implementing the organization’s HR strategy and goals in line with the business strategy.
•   Drives initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness and implements change management initiatives to support business growth.
•   Monitors key performance indicators to identify trends and aligns the programs, resources and initiatives required to support key short-and long-term people related strategies. 
•   Attracts, recruits, retains, identifies and develops the talent required for the organization to achieve its goals.
•   Builds collaborative relationships within area of responsibility and with cross-functional teams to carry out the business strategy.
•   Drives competitive advantage by challenges norms and identifies and leverages the HR solutions and initiatives to address diverse and complex business issues in line with Unisys policies, practices and procedures.
•   Orchestrates all HR-related activities within the geography to ensure that all    HR-related commitments are met; is the client’s single point of contact and accountability.
•  May manage others in the development, delivery or implementation of HR initiatives within the geography to support client strategies.  Regularly mentors, guides, teaches and develops others to improve functional bench strength and knowledge of the geography and client strategies.  May include presentations to HR audiences to build knowledge, writing HR InfoBriefs or other reference material, and/or sharing other Subject Matter Expertise within the WW HR organization.  May make recommendations to COE Directors regarding Employee Network content updates, additions or changes.
•   Leverages and applies senior professional skills, knowledge and experience on a global and cross-functional basis. Provides large-scale support to clients; is known for possessing HR expertise and deep business knowledge.
•   Establishes, interprets and analyzes key performance metrics with business strategies; consults with  clients on defining measures of success, quantifying improvement requirements and implementing a quick response when results become unacceptable.
•   Seeks opportunities to explore alternate delivery of tasks, functions, projects or deliverables in line with Unisys strategy; understands associated issues and challenges; defines performance requirements and provides timely feedback if performance does not meet client expectations.
•   Understands and interprets trends and developments related to the HR function; anticipates implications to Unisys with special insight to their specific business client and recommends proactive course of action.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

• Undergraduate college degree or equivalent is required
• Professional certification is desirable
• A minimum of  10 years of progressively responsible experience 
• Possesses a track record of working within several HR functional areas and possesses deep functional and business knowledge 
• Work experience or exposure outside of the HR function is also desirable 
• Demonstrates deep business, functional and consulting skills 
• Demonstrates a sound knowledge of  business 
• Possesses strong project/program management and facilitation skills 
• Has successfully coordinated and implemented multiple complex projects or programs globally
