What You'll Be Doing:
CoreLogic is seeking a Director, External Communications to develop high-impact strategic external communication programs that build awareness and interest on a variety of data-driven topics, including the mortgage, real estate, insurance and climate risk. Our company is in the middle of a successful period of transformation and growth into new verticals, and the individual in this role will play a key role in helping us amplify our brand and establish us as the go-to news source with a deep bench of high-quality, data-backed experts.
As a core member of our communications team, you will be responsible for communicating CoreLogic's data driven storylines to external audiences, mainly media. Reporting to the Senior Director, External Communications, this position is responsible for developing our external corporate communications strategy alongside the Senior Director and executing public relations plans while creating message cohesion in all our communication efforts. A high-energy, proactive, out of the box thinker, the individual in this role will collaborate with our content marketing team and subject matter experts to elevate the impact of our public relations/media relations. This role requires strong writing, editing and project management skills and the candidate should be a creative thinker with a passion for storytelling. We are looking for a communications pro with a track record of telling data-driven stories; a team player who can navigate initiatives cross-functionally; and an exceptional project manager who can handle multiple projects at once.

Storyteller: Strong media relations acumen. You think creatively and strategically and have proven copywriting and copyediting skills. Results-driven: you know what outcomes you're aiming for and how to measure success. You think two steps ahead, anticipate questions and issues before they arise and take the initiative. Education & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing Communications or a related field.12+ years of relevant experience in public relations, corporate communications or external communications.Skills & CompetenciesExceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.Proven ability to craft data-driven narratives and simplify complex topics for broad audiences.Experience with media monitoring tools, project management systems and distribution platforms.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and an ability to measure the success of communication initiatives.Ability to manage multiple projects and pivot as needed depending on company needs.Preferred QualificationsPR experience in financial services, data analytics or related industries.A strong understanding of the media landscape and experience managing agency relationships.
Annual Pay Range:
