This exciting Director, F&B Marketing Operations opportunity will be responsible for operationalizing F&B commercial initiatives across the network, working with regional leads and property to deliver best in class marketing for F&B, with a focus on driving business results, brand equity and support F&B goals around HRG, new to brand acquisition, and digital direct revenue.
This position is also responsible for collaborating with the F&B Commercial team and Commercial COEs to ensure appropriate guidance and training materials are developed for property adoption.
The position is open to all internal and external applicants.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Operationalize F&B Commercial Initiatives
Portfolio Upskilling for F&B Marketing
Implement F&B specific marketing field resources and training programs.Manage marketing section of F&B SharePoint site, and F&B tools in Commercial SharePointRollout and Sustainment for F&B Commercial initiatives
Determine best approach for rolling out new property initiatives to ensure adoption and success.Establish sustainment model with regional teams to ensure in-market supportDrive development of appropriate GARP SKUs for F&BLOB Expert SPA for Regional Leads
Support Regionals in diagnosing and providing guidance for Focus R&B, including supporting review of outlet positioning, marketing plans, and promotional calendars, and KPI tracking.Hold monthly office hours for Regionals to share updates, check in on F&B initiatives across regions, and troubleshoot any potential issues.Provide input on R&B marketing plan evaluation for top outlets.Network Support
New Openings, Re-concepting, Renovations and Focus Outlets
Develop F&B Marketing Critical Path for new openings.Oversee F&B Marketing planning for key new openings, re-concepts and renovations, including development of outlet positioning, marketing plan and promotional calendarProvide direct property support up to 6-months post opening.Provide guidance for Focus outlets across the three regions, establishing and tracking Commercial success metrics.Promotions and Activations Marketing
Idle Spaces
Develop marketing toolkit to support Idle Space pop ups; provide guidance for regional teams to support property execution.Business lead for online takeaway site implementation.Beverage Activations
Develop marketing toolkit for 2 enterprise-led Beverage Activations; provide guidance for regional teams to support property execution.Develop framework for regional/ enterprise bar tours (ie Tales of the Cocktail, Best Sip on Tour, etc.)Partnership Activations
Lead marketing planning for enterprise-led activations such as James Beard Week, Best Sip on Tour, etc.What You Bring:
10 - 12 years of Marketing and Promotions experience in F&B.Degree in Marketing, Hospitality or equivalent experience.Strategic F&B marketing experience, able to translate business and strategic objectives into effective marketing programs.Understanding of key success metrics and track record of leveraging various marketing disciplines to drive holistic results.Direct experience developing marketing plans from inception, through to execution.Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).Working knowledge of creative tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc).Working knowledge of Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Power BI.Key Skills/Who You Are:
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization. Demonstrates strong leadership, ability to actively engage with all Property, Operations and Commercial stakeholders.Effectively prioritizes work to meet multiple tight deadlines.Ability to make changes at the hotel level and seen as a change agent, motivator, and influencer.Ability to promote best practices and set high standards of F&B Marketing across the network.Possess a high level of professionalism and integrity, while maintaining the confidentiality of the Corporate Office.Must be a good team player and be able to deal professionally, courteously, and effectively with all levels of staff, management and external vendors or partners.Demonstrates keen attention to detail, follow up, and ability to get things done.Passion for food and beverage and knowledge of industry trends.This role will be a Hybrid working model, which will require 3 days per week in the Four Seasons Corporate Office located at 1165 Leslie Street, Toronto, Ontario #LI-Hybrid
