ConGlobal, the go-to expert for multimodal, industrial terminal operations, is seeking to fill a Director, Field Installation role, within its technology team. We have a passion for innovation and continue to lead in developing products that enhance our operations, unlock new markets, and disrupt the status quo. We are looking for people with a passion and track record for producing complex new technology. 

As the Director, Field Installation, you'll work to ensure our suite of technology products and services are installed in both internal and external customer locations. The Director, Field Installation has oversight of the Field Install team and will support all elements of the install process including planning, execution and direct leadership of all activities of the department. This role is located out of Fort Worth, Texas and requires travel to customer sites at least 50% of the time.

Responsibilities Ensures that the ConGlobal suite of Advanced Solutions is installed and commissioned per product and customer specifications, at established cost targets and quality levels.Lead and manage a team of Senior Field Technicians and Field Technicians to accomplish the previous bullet. Lead with a Safety-First focus.Work closely with Project Management team to provide installation estimates and coordinate/plan short range and long-range Field Technician Deployments.Work closely and collaboratively with all project stake holders IE: Project Management Team, Application Engineering Team, Product Engineering Team, Network Operations Center, Customer Success Team, Third party Contractors, Customer and Site personnelCommunicate with all stake holders when necessary to explain complex challenges/issues, then provide and execute solutions.Direct staffing and training responsibilities for the Field Technician Team.Work with Field Technicians to arrange travel, review and approve expenses.Draft and submit internal and external facing reports and complete clerical related assignments/duties as required.Work with the team to implement engineering changes as required.Record data as required by development engineering. Qualifications Travel is required, at least 50% of the timeBachelor’s degree in management, engineering or related field10+ years’ experience leading and managing field installation teams deploying on a regular and consistent schedule3 to 5 years’ experience with technology-based field installations comprised of mechanical components and assemblies + cabling + electrical components and assemblies + softwareCustomer Facing project management experienceAbility to effectively communicate with all stakeholders and team members.Meticulous with detail; excels in driving results.Demonstrated ability to effectively lead cross-functional teams.Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprintsCustomer Facing project management experienceExperience developing and maintaining standardized work instructions, creating and maintaining bills of materials, and with purchasing/ordering inventory management preferred.
