**Director, Finance, Solta China**
This position will be responsible for all aspects of Finance for Solta China. This role is expected to be the primary Business Partner for the VP, GM of the Solta China business, with a good understanding of the business, including but not limiting to sales channel/network, customers, competition to provide relevant and practical financial options/solutions, and to steer the overall financial performance for the company. Ensure value added analysis and presentations and leading Budgeting, Forecasting, and Long Range Planning activities, as well as having overall responsibility for ensuring financial information and financial statements are accurate and compliant with both local regulations and US GAAP and ensuring compliance with company policy and internal control requirements.
**Major Areas of Responsibility**
**FP&A / Business Partnering**
+ Primary Business Partner to VP, GM of Solta China business
+ Manage, develop, and build/grow the China Finance team as required to support the growing Solta China business.
+ Oversee the preparation of the annual budgeting and forecasting, reporting, and business review packages including the evaluation of key performance indicators and a comparison of results to budget and forecast along with comprehensive executive level explanations of variances.
+ Provide variance analysis of the financial results in a timely and accurate manner, including but not limited to regular sales report, ASP, Margin and department expenses.
+ Assisting the preparation and periodic review/updating of the Company’s long range strategic planning models.
+ Leverage strong understanding of key business drivers and metrics as well as financial models to deliver value added analysis and decision insight, to drive business results.
+ Support Business Unit leaders in executing strategies and delivering results by providing recommendations and input to decisions to drive financial performance.
+ Partner closely with the management team on ad-hoc requests including improving reporting and evaluation of projects/investments
+ Expense monitoring including but not limited to Advertising and Promotion expense tracking, Travel & Entertainment review, accruals
+ Work closely with key stakeholders across the business in assessing and modeling new business opportunities.
+ Understand key drivers of performance with ability to identify business improvements and cost reduction opportunities on an ongoing basis.
+ Develop and deliver executive level presentations for review with Executive Leadership Team.
+ Ad-hoc assignments as necessary
**Accounting and Financial Reporting**
+ Develop / Maintain strong Financial Controls (both tone/environment and processes) to ensure financial information and financial statements are accurate and compliant with local regulations and US GAAP
+ Partner with shared services accounting functions and third party outsource providers for month and quarter end close activities – review of Balance Sheet, P&L, journal adjustments etc.
+ Act as the primary in-house Finance contact point for GL, AP and AR matters, liaising with central functions and third party outsource providers as necessary
+ Manage / Direct an outsourced Finance Services Provider, related to accounting transactions and reporting requirements.
+ Work closely with Regional and Corporate Finance and Accounting Teams as required
+ Responsible for timely, accurate preparation and filing of local audited financial statements and tax filing
+ Ad Hoc assignments as required
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in finance and/or Accounting.
+ Minimum of 12 years diverse Finance experience including FP&A and Accounting, with Medical Device / Medical Aesthetics experience a plus
+ Strong executive communication skills, ability to take complex financial information and create financial ‘stories’ that the business can understand and make decisions / act on
+ Excellent analytical skills and ability to translate executive needs for information into actionable reporting and analyses.
+ Highly motivated individual with a strong sense of urgency and rigorous attention to detail to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
+ Strong experience with D365 preferred.
+ Ability to multitask and prioritize work, and communicate complex issues to senior management verbally, in writing, and through presentations.
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills to represent Finance on various project teams and initiatives.
+ Qualified CPA holder such as CICPA, ACCA
+ Proficiency in written and spoken in Chinese and English
