The Director, Financial Planning & Analysis analyzes and forecasts financial, economic, and other data to provide accurate and timely information for strategic and operational decisions. The Director, Financial Planning & Analysis requires an in-depth understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across the function or segment.
The Director, Financial Analytics will:
+ Insurance/Centerwell NPV Forecasting - Responsible for the continued development and enhancement of our NPV models in order to drive optimal acquisition and IT related investments.
+ Customer Acquisition Cost Modeling – Lead modeling modeling to understand cost to acquire through different sales channels, marketing, and differing products as well as the marginal cost of the next sale.
+ Marketpoint Support – Provide financial and modeling support around channel specific initiatives, M&A opportunities, and partner negotiations
+ Marketing Support – Assist marketing team in optimizing NPV from call to action marketing and understanding NPVs of members acquired through different ad campaigns.
+ Lead the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to support the Enterprise Growth strategic goals
+ Provide comprehensive financial analysis to support decision-making across the enterprise
+ Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts, presenting insights and recommendations to senior management
+ Improve financial status by analyzing results and variances, identifying trends, and recommending actions
**Job Competencies:**
+ Decision Making & Impact – decisions have direct impact on growth strategy, responsible for identifying operational opportunities marketing, IT investments, and other acquisition related spend in order to maximize Enterprise earnings over the next 5 years.
+ Work Complexity & Independent Judgement – Responsibility for understanding fundamentals of profitability by member tenure for both Medicare as well as Centerwell businesses as well as how major legislation/regulatory changes will impact future results.
+ Autonomy & Management – works directly with Insurance, Centerwell, and Finance leaders to achieve goals that they have self-identified and aligned upon with segment leadership
+ Scope of Knowledge – given complexity of role, ideal candidate will have significant experience in Medicare and/or Centerwell with a strong emphasis in finance or actuarial, as well as solid, proven communication skills

**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field
+ 8 or more years of finance and/or accounting experience, or equivalent
+ 5 or more years of management experience
+ Experience advising senior leadership on financial strategies
+ Proficient in financial software and advanced Excel skills
+ Knowledge of complex accounting and financial transactions for internal and external reporting
+ Prior experience developing methods and criteria for measuring and summarizing data for complex analyses
+ Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage diverse audiences
+ Ability to lead and manage special projects that may necessitate cross-functional partnerships
+ Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Master's Degree in Business Administration or a CPA strongly preferred
+ Prior health insurance industry experience working in Finance/Accounting
+ Experience with creating long-term value models, marginal cost curves, marketing spend optimization efforts
+ MA financial knowledge or experience
+ Centerwell financial knowledge or experience

**Pay Range**
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$168,000 - $231,000 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
