Job Description Summary:

The Director, Financial Risk Management oversees and coordinates the financial analysis, measurement, and evaluation of risk mitigation and financing strategies for the Company’s Treasury Department.  This role is a combination of financial market risks and insurable risks. The role is to provide insights and thought leadership to help align the strategy and execution on the measurement of risks with the Treasury Leaders’ mitigation and hedging strategies.  They provide subject matter expertise to the Company including Treasury, Supply Points, Field Operations, and Corporate on risk financial strategies, enterprise risk management, and efficient utilization of capital and the Company’s balance sheet.

What You’ll Do for Us: 

Work within Treasury’s Quantitative Analytics group, oversee the evaluation, modelling, measuring, and in some cases, the development and utilization of tools and techniques to manage financial risks. Risk Assessment and AnalysisConduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential financial, operational, and strategic risks within Corporate Treasury.Develop and implement risk assessment tools and methodologies to ensure accurate risk identification and analysis including event stress testing and valuationContinuously monitor and analyze risk exposures and market trends to provide timely and relevant risk insights acting as a subject matter expert bringing market and academic insights.Risk Mitigation Work cross functionally to help design and implement consistent risk management strategies and frameworks to mitigate identified risks.Collaborate with Treasury groups to develop and execute risk mitigation plans ensuring efficient use of capital.Develop methods and tools to evaluate the effectiveness of risk management strategiesRisk Reporting and CommunicationDevelop and automate risk management reports to share with senior leadership within TreasuryDevelop and maintain risk dashboards and key risk indicators (KRIs) for ongoing monitoring.ERMSupport the Company’s Enterprise Risk Management council and provide necessary inputs as needed. Facilitate risk workshops and training sessions to build risk awareness and capability across the treasury organization.


Qualification & Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree is required (Finance, Risk Management, Economics, Accounting, or related major preferred).Minimum of 10 years increasingly responsible roles within risk management or financial management.  Financial Risk Manager (FRM) certification is a plus.Strong data management and analysis skills.Proficient in data modeling.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Persuasive with strong strategic and analytical abilities.Capable of working with multiple stakeholders across Treasury and the Company to manage financial risk modelsCompetent in making complex decisions and setting risk financing policies and processes.    

Position Details:

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Hybrid work schedule - 3 days per week in person and 2 days virtual

Individual contributor role - no direct reports

Pay Range:

$148,000 - $169,000

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
