Director, Financial Trader, EMEA Credit Trading
**About this role:** Wells Fargo is seeking an experienced Credit Market Maker, specialising in Financials, to join its existing credit trading desk, leveraging Wells Fargo’s industry leading expertise to enable our clients to meet their investment objectives. (Note: In addition to these functions employees are required to carry out such other duties as may reasonably be required) **In this role, you will:** + Make markets in Financials across predominantly EUR/GBP currencies, while effectively monitoring and managing the risk of a trading book within exposure limits on a day to day basis. + Work closely with the sales force and research to increase information flow and maintain client relationships. + Responsible for compliance within the operational risk controls, in accordance with internal and/or regulatory standards and policies outlined for Wells Fargo Securities, within the infrastructure framework provided by the firm. + Work with other WFS businesses to help develop and support origination and research efforts. + Develop knowledge of Wells Fargo's products and services, marketplace and clients and contribute to advancing thebroader business. + Extensive knowledge of electronic Fixed Income trading platforms, contributing to the build out of the EMEACredit Trading business. + Provides MI and support and escalates any material matters on an ongoing basis to the designated SMF to support the fulfilment of their responsibility as a Senior Manager under the Senior Managers Regime. + Required to travel to maintain, develop and enhance client relationships. + Adhere to Wells Fargo’s vision, values and customer service. **Required Qualifications:** + Experience in Securities Trading, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education + Ideal candidate will have extensive years of Financials trading experience with a proven performance track record. + Strong existing relationships with Credit clients. + Strong interpersonal and communication skills. + Deep knowledge of the technical and fundamentals affecting the markets (specifically the Financials sector). + A track record of proven risk management and consistent profitability **Job Expectations:** This position is deemed to be a Certified Person function under the FCA and PRA Certification Regime.
