General Purpose

Establish and deliver business initiatives, develop strategies, and plans in support of Company programs and goals.  Deliver and manage allocated financial assets and funding levels.  This position is directly accountable for safety, coaching, and training employees within the transportation administration department. Delivers and supports Company programs and policies. Typically supervises Manager-level employees.
Working with cross-functional organizations to measure metric efficiencies of transport employees to deliver and mitigate impacts to corporate, business unit, or organizational objectives.  

Responsibilities Development and Oversight of PacifiCorp’s fleet procurement strategy, budget and replacement metrics in all six states. Develop performance metrics such as mechanic utilization, optimal district fleet sizing and other KPI’s and coordinate efficiency improvements with field transport managers. Adhering to federal, state, and local laws and regulations including federal and state legislation acts pertaining to emission standards .  Oversight of Department Of Transportation reporting mandates and state licensing requirements.  Manage and implement programs that identify fleet maintenance cycles.  Monitor and report on preventive maintenance work.  Direct purchasing and standards to deliver new fleet equipment and requirements.  Oversight of vendors and their services required to maintain, purchase and repair PacifiCorp’s fleet operations.  Deliver Company OMAG and Capital budgets.  Ensure federal and state legislation acts pertaining to emission standards are implemented and understood within PacifiCorp’s operating regions. Directly accountable for safety, coaching, and training employees within the transportation administration department. Select, coach, and develop employees. Review and evaluate employee performance and prepare annual reviews Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance, Fleet management,  or a related field; or the equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of ten years of professional experience. A minimum of five years direct people management experience. Communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to work as a team member and to clearly communicate approved actions. Proficient with the use of personal computers including spreadsheet, database, word processing, and presentation applications. Preferences Knowledge of established Company transportation practices, procedures and policies.

This position is eligible for an annual discretionary performance incentive bonus of up to 20.00% of salary.
