Choice Hotels, one of the world’s largest lodging franchisors, has an exciting new opportunity as our Director, Franchise Services, Onboarding Services & Operations in the Loyalty and Commercial Operations department. The Loyalty and Commercial Operations department is the team that strengthens and supports franchise commercial operations. As a key member of our Loyalty and Commercial Operations department, you will oversee support and assistance provided to franchisees, including hotel onboarding, OTA/GDS coordination, rate loading, and visibility to optimize hotel revenue.

Your Responsibilities

Initiate, plan, and manage key projects and initiatives.Build a core foundation across each Franchisee Care team and identify opportunities to improve service delivery.Drive continuous operating improvements and quality performance for service delivery.Develop and execute long and short-term planning and strategies to include operational efficiencies, workforce management, and budget review.Serve as the main point of contact across the organization and lead/participate in corporate initiatives and various projects.

Your Experience, Skills & Competencies

An undergraduate degree in business is required.Minimum of five years previous experience in technical support, strategic and project planning, project management, and change management.2+ years’ experience in workforce management and budget oversight highly desirable.Proven abilities identifying and driving and delivering process improvements.Experience with OTA’s, GDS’s, CRS’s, PMS’s and other relevant hotel technology systems required.Excellent verbal, written and listening communication skills.Strong presentation, organizational and time management skills.High energy and self-starter mentality – a driven for success leader.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects/tasks concurrently.Travel as required, including international travel (passport required).Demonstrates key competencies to include: Cultivates Innovation, Drives Results, and Manages Ambiguity.

Your Team

This is a leadership role that will report to the Senior Director, Marketing, Loyalty Operations. You will have direct reports and collaborate with cross functional departments on a regular basis.

Your Work Location

As our Director, Franchise Services, Onboarding Services & Operations, you will be based in our beautiful, state-of-the-art technology hub in Scottsdale, AZ. In October 2021, Choice opened a newly constructed world class technology center.
