Director, Global Benefits

ROLE OVERVIEW:

As Director of Global Benefits, you will serve a critical role in our business, driving the strategy of Ralliant’s health, welfare and wellbeing offerings across a globally diverse workforce, designed to advance business objectives while reinforcing our Employee Value Proposition. You will have the opportunity to be part of a dynamic HR organization, charged with re-imagining benefits to attract, align, engage, and retain top talent. You will be a strategic leader responsible for designing, developing, and executing comprehensive benefits programs that align with Ralliant’s business objectives and ensure competitiveness in the global talent market. You will collaborate with senior leaders, HR partners, Legal, and other stakeholders to ensure that our global benefits programs enable our talent strategy, drive a high-performance culture, and foster a diverse and inclusive workplace.

The ‘face’ of Benefits globally, you will engage directly with Business leaders as well as HR to design and manage benefits that meet employee and company needs. This is a hands-on role, that manages a small team and provides benefits leadership and direction to Field HR. You will lead several projects and initiatives to harmonize and strengthen benefits programs, policies and processes to ensure strong governance, efficiency and improve overall return on investment for benefits.

RESPONSIBILTIES:

Benefits Strategy and Planning
•    Develop and execute a global benefits strategy that supports the company's business and financial objectives and enhances employee satisfaction and retention.
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Finance, and Payroll, to ensure alignment with business goals.
•    Informed about industry best practices, emerging trends, and regulatory changes related to benefits programs.
•    Conduct regular benchmarking analyses to evaluate the competitiveness of our benefits offerings and recommend adjustments as needed.

Global Harmonization:
•    Drive efforts to harmonize benefit programs across different regions, ensuring consistency and equity.
•    Work closely with regional HR teams to standardize benefit offerings while considering local nuances.
•    Lead stakeholder and change management to navigate program changes with local leadership, finance, and employees.
•    In partnership with HRSS, scale the administration of all benefits plans and programs to ensure efficient and cost effective operations with a focus on local market competitiveness while aligning to global principles.

International travel may be required.

Benefits Program Management
•    Oversee all aspects of the company's benefits programs, including health and wellness, retirement plans, insurance, flexible spending accounts, and other voluntary benefits.
•    Collaborate with internal and external partners to design, implement, and administer benefit plans that meet the needs of employees across different regions and cultures.
•    Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations governing benefits programs in each country where the company operates.

Vendor Management
•    Manage relationships with benefits vendors, including insurers, brokers, consultants, and third-party administrators.
•    Negotiate contracts, evaluate vendor performance, and ensure that service levels and cost targets are met.

Communication and Employee Education
•    Develop and execute communication strategies to educate employees about available benefits options, enrollment processes, and other relevant information.
•    Coordinate with HR and internal communications teams to create engaging, informative materials, such as benefit guides, presentations, and online resources.

Data Analysis and Reporting
•    Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to track key metrics related to benefits utilization, costs, and employee satisfaction.
•    Generate regular reports and dashboards to provide insights to senior leadership and support decision-making.

Leadership:
•    Lead a lean team to deliver and operationalize programs 
•    Lead the Segment and Enterprise leadership level reporting 
•    Serve on cross-functional teams as the Global Process Owner for benefits
•    Key member of the Total Rewards Leadership Team
ROLE QUALIFICATIONS:

Basic Qualifications:

•    8+ years of progressive experience in global benefits management, with at least 2 years in a leadership roles. 
•    Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 
•    Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing benefits programs in a complex, global organization with multiple operating companies or business units.
•    In-depth knowledge of global benefits practices, regulations, and market trends.
•    Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
•    Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
•    High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information
•    Highly flexible, able to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines to complete well in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving organization.
•    English language proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications:

•    Advanced degree and/or professional certifications (e.g., CBP, GRP)
