Director, Global Compensation

The Director, Global Compensation is a highly impactful role partnering with key business leaders and HR Partners to manage, design and administer global broad-based compensation programs.  This position will manage a team that keeps up-to-date on market practices, conducts analytics and develops best in class compensation programs and tools.

Accountabilities

Develops and implements long term strategic plan for delivery of market competitive broad-based compensation and recognition policies and programsDevelops and manages the day-to-day delivery of compensation and recognition programs and projects globallyPartners with business leaders to assess and design incentive and sales programs Consults with leaders and HR Partners on compensation-related needs to ensure consistent management globallyManages global compensation programs and structures for market-competitiveness and provide recommendations for effective change; ensures global role alignment within the organizationManage benchmarking process to ensure jobs are correctly aligned to global structuresResponsible for monitoring new or revised laws and regulations for impact to global compensation programsLead, review and refine global compensation administration processes including annual merit review process and trainingsPartners with HRIS team to ensure HCM setup supports compensation processesLeads evaluation and implementation of compensation programs from M&A activity or organizational redesignManages vendor relationships and contract negotiations; holds vendors accountable for service delivery and manages SLAsLeads and develops global compensation team to meet internal delivery standards

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience10+ years of experience in HR/broad-based compensation mattersSignificant team leadership experience in global multi- business unit environmentExperience in public traded companyExperience with alignment of incentive and sales programs to business objectivesThrough understanding of independencies of compensation systems and HCM system – Workday experience preferredAbility to prioritize work and ensure deadlines are met; high attention to detailAbility to communicate clearly, partner with various teams within the organization and influence key leadersStrong analytical and financial acumen requiredStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office
