The Impact You Will Have:
As Director of Global Compensation, you are leading the way in developing and implementing a comprehensive global compensation strategy that aligns with QTS’ goals and objectives. You oversee the design, implementation, and administration of compensation programs, including base salary, incentives, cash bonus programs and equity programs, ensuring they are competitive, equitable, and aligned with QTS’ compensation philosophy.
What You Will Do:
Complete detailed analysis with the help of the compensation team to design and develop compensation programs to better align enterprise-wide compensation structures with current industry trends and business needsPropose solutions with the Total Rewards framework for ad hoc and BAU comp research, guidance, and deliverables to stakeholdersLead and manage a team of compensation professions, including career pathing, development, succession planning, and performance managementOversee the design, implementation, and administration of compensation programs, including salary structures, short and long term incentive programs, and annual cyclesDesign and implement new short-term incentive programs globally in alignment with the compensation philosophy and business strategyLead annual survey participation, benchmarking, and market data analysisContinually advance company benchmarking with a focus on local market competitivenessEnsure compensation programs are competitive, equitable, and aligned with QTS’ compensation philosophy to attract, retain, and engage top talentMonitor the effectiveness of existing compensation practices and recommend changes that are consistent with compensation trends and company objectivesCollaborate with HR and business leaders to understand business needs and develop compensation solutions that support the attraction, retention, and motivation of talent.Provide guidance and support to HR and business leaders on compensation-related matters.Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to compensation.Advance pay transparency and compensation statement global strategy in collaboration with senior leadershipOwner operator of Workday HCM compensation and advanced compensation module including workflows, configuration, and reportingManage the annual compensation process, including budget proposals, base pay, bonus, equity, and promotions. Propose guidelines and prepare projections for budget forecasting in collaboration with financeDevelop and deliver training and communication materials to educate employees and managers on compensation programs and policies.Maintain all data components of employee compensation talent structure in HCMProgress data validation, visualization and data quality framework for compensation modulesRemain current with global laws and regulations related to compensation andDevelop and present executive-level presentations relating to compensation analysis, philosophies, program details, and market trendsSupport the executive compensation processWhat You Need to be Successful:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Business Administration, related field, or equivalent professional experience in lieu of a degreeTen or more years of experience in compensation design and strategy development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role supporting a global workforce.Five or more years of Workday compensation expertise including advanced compensationFive or more years of people leadership experienceExperience leading a global compensation team with strong knowledge of global compensation practices and principles, especially in major countries within EuropeExperience with robust compensation benchmarking and market analysis tools, equity compensation programsExpert in MS Excel including pivot tables, complex formulas, lookup functions or comparable data visualization toolsCertified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation desirableOther Key Skills:
