**Description**
Reporting into and collaborating closely with the VP, Creative Director, this role will shape our brand's creative direction, executing captivating campaigns that resonate with our target audience. With expertise in design, branding, and leadership, you will drive our brand's growth and success. As a collaborative, hands⁃on visual expert, this role will maintain our visual style and brand identity, while finding innovative ways to expand existing design elements across digital platforms, and lead teams in producing dynamic visuals. This position will ensure exceptional user experiences, constantly explore growth opportunities, and thrive in our creative, fast⁃paced environment.
Responsibilities:
+ Lead the design team: Provide creative direction, mentorship, and guidance to a team of art directors and designers, ensuring the delivery of high⁃quality work aligned with brand guidelines and project objectives.
+ Develop and execute captivating campaigns: Collaborate with cross⁃functional teams to conceptualize and implement innovative marketing campaigns, ensuring consistency and cohesiveness across all touchpoints.
+ Brand strategy and identity: Define and refine the brand's visual identity, ensuring alignment with the overall brand positioning and values.
+ Set creative vision: Work closely with the VP Creative Director to establish and articulate the creative vision, ensuring it aligns with the brand's long⁃term goals and objectives.
+ Campaign development: Oversee the end⁃to⁃end creative process, from ideation and concept development to final execution, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
+ Collaborate with external partners: Liaise with external agencies, photographers, and vendors to ensure seamless collaboration and execution of creative projects.
+ Stay updated on industry trends: Monitor emerging design and beauty trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to inform and inspire innovative creative concepts and strategies.
+ UX/ UI design: Oversee the development of intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces, ensuring seamless user experiences and effective conversion funnels as well as monitoring digital design trends, user experience & email best practices, and industry innovations to inform and inspire digital creative concepts and strategies.
+ Present and report: Present design concepts, campaign strategies, and project updates to internal stakeholders, including the VP Creative Director and senior leadership, while providing regular reports on the team's progress and performance.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
+ 8⁃ 10 years of experience, with minimum 3⁃4 years as creative lead, preferably in the beauty industry.
+ Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and responsive web design principles.
+ Strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in branding, campaign design including digital, and creative leadership.
+ In⁃depth understanding of digital design trends, user experience principles, and industry⁃specific digital platforms and technologies.
+ Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant tools.
+ Staying on top of current design trends, beauty industry dynamics, and consumer preferences.
+ Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of successfully leading and inspiring creative teams.
+ Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to articulate creative concepts and strategies effectively.
+ Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
+ Able to think and work strategically, able to plan ahead and foresee opportunities.
+ Comprehensive knowledge of concept development, design and all phases of production.
