Director, Global Enablement

Location: Home-Based Dublin / Hybrid Dublin

 

Position Summary:

The Director, Global Enablement will be crucial in shaping and driving the global enablement strategy for Account Advancement. This leadership position requires a strategic thinker, strong collaborator, and clear communicator who will be accountable for developing and implementing sustainable practices that empower our sales and delivery teams and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in sales strategies, a proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams, and the ability to create and execute enablement programs that align with Bentley’s goals and objectives.

 

Your Day-to-Day:

Develop and execute a comprehensive global enablement strategy that supports the overall business objectives and drives revenue growth. Design and implement innovative enablement programs, tools, and resources that enhance the skills and effectiveness of our sales teams. Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing global enablement team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence. Collaborate with key organizational stakeholders, including sales, success, marketing, product, and delivery teams, to ensure alignment and drive successful enablement initiatives. Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and impact of enablement programs and make data-driven decisions to continuously improve outcomes. Leverage deep expertise in sales strategies and methodologies to support the execution of regional enablement practices, and provide guidance and support to enablement initiatives to foster a global culture of excellence. Oversee the creation and delivery of high-quality enablement content, including training materials, playbooks, and best practices, to support Account Advancement’s success. Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure our enablement programs remain cutting-edge and effective. Collaborate on digital transformation projects as required to advance the adoption of new sales tools and technologies driving greater effectiveness and efficiency.

 

What You Bring to The Team:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree an added advantage. Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales enablement, sales operations, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Previous experience in a field role including but not limited to quota carrier roles, sales leadership, or delivery roles, providing first-hand insight into the challenges and needs of a complex sales and delivery organization. Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sales enablement strategies and programs. Deep expertise in sales and delivery strategies, methodologies, best practices, and tools including Salesforce, sales automation tools, and data analytics. Experience in implementing and scaling programs across large and complex sales organizations. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a global team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Analytical mindset with the ability to use data and metrics to drive decision-making and measure program effectiveness. Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and business needs. Passion for continuous learning and professional development.
