**Position Overview:**
The Indirect Procurement and Logistics Leader is responsible for overseeing and leading the strategic management of indirect procurement and logistics for the global organization. This role requires a visionary leader with deep expertise in category management, sourcing strategies, supplier relationships, and supply chain optimization, ensuring the achievement of both cost-efficiency and service excellence across the business units. The role is a senior-level position that will directly manage Category Managers, supporting their development and execution of category strategies. The position will be pivotal in aligning procurement strategies with business objectives while managing cross-functional relationships across the matrixed structure.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ **Strategic Procurement Leadership:**
+ Lead the development and execution of global indirect procurement strategies, encompassing categories such as IT, professional services, marketing, facilities management, travel, office supplies, and other indirect spend areas.
+ Work closely with senior leadership of Ralliant and the operating companies to align procurement goals with broader business strategies and objectives.
+ Develop and implement sourcing strategies that drive cost savings, supplier performance, and innovation, while maintaining high levels of quality and service.
+ **Team Leadership and Development:**
+ Manage, mentor, and develop a team of Category Managers, providing direction and support for individual and team growth.
+ Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and innovation within the indirect procurement and logistics teams.
+ Establish performance goals and development plans for the procurement team, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) for category management and supplier performance.
+ **Supplier Relationship Management:**
+ Oversee the supplier selection and negotiation process, ensuring the selection of the most strategic and cost-effective suppliers for indirect goods and services.
+ Build strong, long-term relationships with key suppliers, ensuring a focus on supplier performance, risk mitigation, and innovation.
+ Manage vendor compliance, contract renewals, and performance reviews to ensure alignment with business goals.
+ **Global Logistics and Supply Chain Optimization:**
+ Lead logistics strategies for the indirect procurement function, ensuring seamless coordination across global regions.
+ Collaborate with operations teams to identify opportunities for improving logistics efficiency and reducing lead times and costs.
+ Oversee logistics risk management, ensuring business continuity and effective response strategies to disruptions (e.g., geopolitical risks, natural disasters, etc.).
+ **Cross-Functional Collaboration:**
+ Work closely with other senior leaders across the organization, including Finance, Operations, IT, and Legal, to ensure alignment of procurement strategies with the overall organizational goals and compliance requirements.
+ Develop and maintain strong relationships with operating company leaders, providing strategic procurement and logistics support tailored to their specific needs.
+ **Data-Driven Decision Making:**
+ Leverage data analytics to measure, report, and drive improvements in procurement performance, supplier efficiency, and logistics operations.
+ Utilize market intelligence, spend analysis, and supplier performance data to make informed decisions and adjust strategies as needed.
+ **Compliance and Risk Management:**
+ Ensure that procurement and logistics activities are in full compliance with global and local regulatory requirements, ethical standards, and sustainability goals.
+ Proactively manage risks related to procurement, logistics, and supplier relationships, developing risk mitigation strategies as necessary.
**Key Qualifications:**
+ **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
+ **Experience:** Minimum of 10 years in indirect procurement, logistics, or supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Experience in a matrixed, global organization with Indirect spend up to or exceeding $100M is highly desirable.
+ **Leadership:** Proven ability to lead and develop a team of professionals, with strong mentoring, coaching, and team-building skills.
+ **Strategic Mindset:** Ability to think strategically, lead change initiatives, and drive continuous improvement in procurement and logistics processes.
+ **Supplier and Contract Management:** Strong experience in supplier negotiation, relationship management, and contract management, with a focus on value creation and risk management.
+ **Global Experience:** Proven experience working in a global context, with a clear understanding of regional differences in procurement and logistics practices.
+ **Data-Driven:** Strong analytical skills and experience leveraging data to drive decisions and improvements.
+ **Technical Skills:** Proficient in procurement software, ERP systems (e.g., SAP), and other related tools. Familiarity with supply chain management software and logistics platforms is a plus. Must have acumen with Microsoft Office and have analytical proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
+ **Communication Skills:** Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 139,300.00 - 258,700.00
