The Global Learning & Knowledge Management (GLKM) organization provides a full range of dynamic, evolving learning and performance solutions that enrich our colleague’s skills and knowledge. We power engagement and drive business results across Global Services (GS) through talent solutions. We are seeking a Director of Learning Architecture Enablement who will serve on the Global Learning Architecture (GLA) leadership team.
GLA is responsible for partnering with business leaders, subject matter experts, and the wider GLKM team to develop and implement global learning solutions that align with key business strategies and enhance organizational performance. With a focus on the highest quality of design and development, they will contribute to the conceptualization, development, implementation and measurement of all learning solutions.
How will you make an impact in this role?
The Director of Learning Architecture Enablement is responsible for leading across key strategic support functions, including learning content governance, design capabilities, internal quality, reporting and multi-media. The primary focus is to ensure that content is created to be impactful while also adhering to all necessary regulatory and privacy requirements. Processes must be efficient and effective and continuously improved.
This position is ideal for someone who is experienced in leading initiatives from strategy to execution, an excellent people leader, proactive, and a strong background in project management and stakeholder management. Agility to work across various Centers of Excellence from technical to those that have detailed processes is key.
This position will report directly into the Vice President of Global Learning Architecture (GLA) and partner with the GLA leadership team to ensure on-time deliverables of our strategic priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the strategy and design of our learning content governance demonstrating strong awareness of controls and regulatory demands. Evolve our internal content quality program ensuring all content meets minimum standards. Refine our approach to curating impactful learning experiences through multi-media and short form learning content with our Learning User Experiences team. Support the ongoing needs of our Design Capabilities including Learning Content Management System (LCMS) built in SharePoint and Power Platforms. Manage Third Party Relationships with content creation vendors (ex. Articulate, Vyond, etc.) and partner with appropriate internal product and tech teams. Collaborate with leaders supporting our lines of business to ensure these programs and capabilities support their needs and can be effectively and efficiently implemented and utilized. Develop a robust reporting suite to support the overall performance and landscape of the GLA team and provide insights to help inform the team’s overall strategy. Partner with capacity to enable visibility and effective capacity planning. Identify and enable operational efficiencies across these various Centers of Excellence.Minimum Qualifications:
Project Management Leadership: Develop and execute plans to effectively scale solutions globally across GLA. Provide strong project management leadership, overseeing timelines, removing roadblocks and ensuring milestones are achieved. Results-Driver and Change Management Expert: Drive project delivery by identifying opportunities, obstacles/risks and developing recommendations. Ensure adoption of processes across GLA. Develop and implement user readiness programs, ensuring colleagues are equipped with the skills and knowledge for successful adoption. Operational Efficiency: Document and refine processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness. Cross-Functional Leader: Demonstrated ability to lead and partner with cross-functional, virtual teams and operate autonomously, making complex decisions in situations of ambiguity and time pressure. Navigate AXP’s compliance & risk management framework by attending key forums, planning for needs, and ensuring appropriate risk management and mitigation strategies are in place. Collaboration Champion: Collaborate with peers to pilot and iterate enablement processes. Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement and adapt our strategies to the evolving needs of our colleagues, seeking input along the way. Innovator: Capacity to be a change agent - not afraid to challenge the status quo.
