As the Director, Global Onboarding & Early Career Experience at Micron Technology, your opportunity is to lead a global team to include the collaborative design, development, implementation, and evaluation of global onboarding & early career experience solutions. Your immediate focus will be on strategy development, evolution, program sustainment, enhancement, creation, facilitation, coaching, and the evaluation of results.
Using your unique capabilities and experience, you will:
Lead and manage a global team supporting global onboarding & integration, early career experience & digital learning for MicronProvide a balance of enterprise solutions in partnership with global/local SMEs to ensure content is culturally relevant and impactful across regionsSupport – at scale – understanding & guidance of early career development efforts for MicronAct as a custodian of Micron’s onboarding & early career experience strategy and reinforcing its global activation through partnership with key stakeholders and partners from industryPartner with executives, key stakeholders, leaders and Global Business Partners to assess needs, manage change and drive advocacy of onboarding, early career experience & digital learning globallyTranslate strategic priorities into program offerings or content focusInitiate and support globally diverse and agile teams to identify improvement opportunities aligned to overall People Organization & Micron strategies.Lead communication strategies for onboarding & early career experience programs globallyConduct external research and benchmarking to ensure strategy, content and delivery models are positioned to deliver best-in-class resultsIntegrate leading practices in social and collaborative learning methods to improve program impact, build and sustain learning communities and drive continuous learning across onboarding & early career experience programming & initiatives.Collaborating with Micron Business Units (BUs), Functions and external partners to share best practices and drive human innovationDefining prioritized annual objectives complete with action plans, resourcing models, milestones and metrics of successLead, facilitate and manage the suite of programs supporting onboarding & early career experience at MicronFacilitate programs as neededCoach and develop of managers, leaders, and team membersDevelop measures, benchmarks, or scorecards to assess the effectiveness of programs with a direct focus on early career retentionConsistently assess and measure training and development programs to ensure they are relevant to the needs of the changing businessTo succeed you will be able to demonstrate:
Demonstrated passion for learning and cultureProven experience with global onboarding & early career experiencesExposure to and leadership in learning digitization efforts to include curation, LXP management & other methodologies to better enable learning at scaleAbility to design innovative and engaging onboarding & early career programs and interventions10+ years experience working in large (30K+) global companies with revenues of $10B+Proven global experience in advising and influencing executive leaders (with a strong personal executive presence)Ability to identify process improvements and drive improvements at a tactical levelDeep expertise in change management and communicationsAbility to collaborate globally and build sustainable relationships at all levels of the enterpriseHands-on delivery capability on our cadre of leadership development offeringsGrowth mindset that supports the business strategic intentTrack record of implementing and delivering results through global programs
Minimum Qualifications:
•BA/BS degree in related discipline; Masters/MBA (preferred) in Psychology, Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Organization Development; in commercial environments
•10 plus years of directly related experience
The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:
$145,500.00 - $302,500.00Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Additional compensation may include benefits, discretionary bonuses and equity.
