Job Overview:
The Director of Global Product Supply Planning will be responsible for developing and executing the planning strategics, overseeing and optimizing the global product supply planning operations focusing on capacity planning and utilization, production planning and follow up. This role will inspire and lead a team of 40 associates across multiple countries and to enhance and optimize end to end planning process and collaboration with other functions. This role manages risks and ensure supply chain meets the performance goals while driving continuous improvement and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Global Planning Strategy and Execution
Develop and implement a global planning strategy that aligns with company overall business objectives, ensure long-term scalability and consistency across all regional offices and brands.Oversee European and Americas vendor capacity network, assessing production capabilities to determine if we ca meet the future demand. Anticipating capacity constraints and develop mitigation plan with cross functional teams to eliminate or minimize the business impact. Execute global buy activities and production monitoring.Capacity Planning, Production Monitoring and Risk Management
Collaborate with varies functions along GTM calendar to capture forecast assumption, ensure a directionally accurate forecast signal are shared within product supply functions for decision making. Align capacity planning with business growth.Manage global production schedule to meet forecasts while optimizing capacity and minimize costs.Monitor and adjust capacity plans to respond to changes in demand, supply disruptions or operations constraints.Work with Product Supply and Materials Team to ensure allocation, development and materials are aligned with capacity plan and production requirement.Identify risks in the supply chain, such as disruptions, capacity bottlenecks, and supplier issues, and develop mitigation strategies.Ensure contingency plans are in place for managing crises or major supply chain disruptions across regions.Process Optimization and Innovation
Continuously analyze and improve supply chain process and structure, identify opportunities for cost reduction, efficiency improvement, risk mitigation and streamline operations.Lead initiatives for continuous improvement within supply chain, staying updated on industry trends and best practice to maintain competitive edge which may involve adopting new technologies or methodologies.People and Organization Leadership
Lead, mentor and develop a global planning team across multiple countries to ensure the team is effectively managing planning processes, maintaining high performance and meeting KPIs. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement within the team.Identify and cultivates high potential associates within the planning organization ensuring a pipeline of future leaders.Demonstrate strong cross-functional leadership and capable to facilitate collaboration between different functions, regional team to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.Lead and manage organizational changes within the global planning function; communicate change initiatives and effectively, ensure buy-in from team and other stakeholders.Design and evolve the organizational structure that support efficient and effective global planning operations. Allocate resources appropriately across regional offices to meet the business needs.Implement training and development programs to build the team’s expertise in supply chain and planning.Data-Driven Decision Making
Utilize advanced analytics and supply chain tools to assess performance, identify trends, and drive continuous improvements in capacity and production planning processes.Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain efficiency, capacity utilization, and production outputs, and develop action plans to address variances and root causes for process improvement.Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with Product Supply, Materials, Brand Planning, Costing along GTM critical milestones to align capacity and production plan align with business forecasts and financial objectives.Serve as the point of contact between regional planning teams in European/Americans and Global Planning leadership, ensuring consistent process and reporting are implemented and alignment on priorities.Key Competences:

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field. An MBA or relevant master’s degree is often preferred.8+ years of experience in supply chain management, with a strong background and understanding in capacity and production planning or similar field.Proven experience managing global teams across multiple countries.Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JDA).Advanced analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions, experience with data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.Excellent communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and external partners and leadership skills to inspire, coach and manage a diverse and remote team effectively.Strong problem-solving skills and a track record of driving process improvements in a global setting.R-20241216-0019
