Director, Global Retention Ops

Job Summary: 
The Strategy and Operation Director will leverage data and analytics to drive strategic projects, generate actionable insights, improve lead experience, and maintain rigorous operational routines. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, project management, data analysis, and operational excellence to support and enhance the Global Retention Programs. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally and lead end-to-end problem-solving initiatives that generate outcomes linked to executive decision-making. A growth mindset, proactive approach, and commitment to continuous improvement are critical traits for success in this role. 

Key Responsibilities: 

1.    Strategy Projects Design and Execution:Data-Driven Strategy, Design and Execution: Utilize data and analytics to design and execute strategic projects sponsored by the operating committee. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful implementation of strategic initiatives. Executive Outcomes: Develop project plans, timelines, and deliverables that generate outcomes directly linked to executive decision-making. Growth Mindset: Embrace a growth mindset, always seeking ways to improve and innovate in project design and execution.2.    Generate Insights for Team NCVI: Analytical Insights: Analyze complex data sets to generate insights that support the execution of best practices for Team NCVI. Collaborative Problem-Solving: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to translate insights into actionable recommendations. Executive Reporting: Provide insights and recommendations that inform and influence executive-level decisions. Continuous Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the quality and impact of insights generated. 3.    Improve GRP Lead Experience: Data-Driven Efficiency: Leverage data analytics to identify and execute initiatives that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of front-line leads. Cross-Functional Optimization: Collaborate with various teams to optimize the use of Salesforce.com and other tools, improving overall lead experience. Outcome-Linked Initiatives: Implement continuous improvement measures that generate measurable outcomes linked to executive priorities. Proactive Approach: Take a proactive approach in identifying and addressing areas for improvement in lead experience. 

4.    Executing Standard Reporting Cadence and Procedures: Operational Analytics: Maintain and improve GRP operational routines and reporting procedures using advanced data analytics. Business Reviews: Lead or oversee monthly, quarterly, and yearly reviews with leadership and OC (e.g. forecast meeting, Problem Solving Session, Ops Reviews)  Cross-Functional Rigor: Ensure timely and accurate reporting by working closely with cross-functional teams to uphold high standards. Executive Metrics: Develop and implement standard operating procedures that enhance operational rigor and provide key metrics for executive decision-making. Always Getting Better: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, always striving to enhance operational routines and reporting procedures. 5.    Leadership Responsibility:Team Leadership: Lead, inspire, coach, and manage a diverse team through strategic and day-to-day execution. Talent Development: Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture, ensuring team members are engaged and developed. Strategic Alignment: Ensure the team's efforts are aligned with the overall strategic goals of the GRP. Growth and Development: Encourage a growth mindset within the team, promoting professional development and continuous learning. 

Qualifications: 
 

Education: 

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Data Science, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred. 

Experience: 

 Top level seasoned professional within knowledge area or across multiple functions  12+ yrs of business experience preferred, ideally working on business operations or strategy operations  At least 5+ years’ experience within Products or Services preferred  Experience in managing managers or large teams preferred  Must have 5+ years of experience with/in:  People management  Working as a Consultant to drive business growth with product development, strategy, and management.  Strategizing and implementing product management processes  Leading team and strategy for program that guides sales strategy  Crafting and implementing effective operating plans  Utilizing Lean/Agile Product approach  Applying knowledge of enterprise technology space  

Skills: 

Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. Excellent project management and organizational abilities. Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI). Advanced analytics skills, including experience with statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning. Experience with data manipulation and querying tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R). (Preferred) Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Critical Traits: Growth mindset, proactive approach, and commitment to continuous improvement. Applies understanding of Gartner's business and competitive environment to train, coach and develop team

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 116,000 USD - 164,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
