Director, Global Services Deployment

The Leidos Security Enterprise Solutions (SES) currently has an opening for a Director, Global Product Installations.

Leidos designs, manufactures, and maintains a suite of integrated solutions for aviation, ports, borders, and critical infrastructure customers around the world.  This position will be accountable for the highest levels of deployment service to U.S. federal, state, and local governments and international customers and markets. This critical role manages the delivery of installation services to customers, distributors, and resellers with mission critical systems deployed worldwide.

The successful candidate will be a proven leader and key member of the SES Operation reporting directly to the Sr. Director Global Technical Operations.  Primary responsibilities include ensuring post-sale customer satisfaction though world-class service; management of the Product deployment including commissioning, decommissioning and relocation of product; best practices for the efficient delivery of services to meet programmatic, technical, and schedule requirements; and ownership of the product deployment strategy. This position will plan, organize, and manage resources to bring about successful completion of operational goals and management of KPIs by interfacing with task and functional leaders, subcontractors, and support personnel, to ensure that all projects run within scope, schedule, and budget constraints.

Primary Responsibilities;

Responsible for consolidated resource demand forecasts, estimating, resource management, coordination and planning of all product deployment (including commissioning, decommissioning and relocations).Implement and maintain master project demand forecast and resource allocation plan using resource management tools such as MS project, or similar project and resource tracking application.Within the business lifecycle, primary responsibilities include support from new opportunity pursuit support through final customer acceptance.Manages Regional Installation Managers, Project Managers, and Installation TechniciansCross functionally works with Program Management, Commercial Operations, Sales, Product Management, and Service to ensure flawless deployment executionWorks with local stakeholders to ensure Leidos is represented properly in project planning and execution and that any necessary pre-work, site data collection, surveys/visits, etc. are completed to ensure successful site installations.Drives execution of business opportunities (Revenue, Profit, Cash) related to projects under scopeEffectively budgets project management to enhance Leidos’ competitive positionEnsures project are within budget and delivered on time or ahead of schedule.Ensures EH&S standards are in place on all projectsEnsures SES technical best practices and standards for equipment installation, decommissioning, and relocations are adhered to and feedback/updates facilitated to ensure continuous improvement.  Includes ensuring quality installations supported via measurable KPI’s.Hold team accountable to ensure timely work order entries for deployment activities in Sales Force including critical installation milestone timelines (SAT, ISAT, Go Live, etc.)Drives team utilization of business processes and fosters internal organization relationships to allow for rapid resolution of any technical issues encountered.Coordinates a smooth transition to field service after commissioningMay support field testing and qualifications

Qualifications:

10 years of experience in managing large scale systems and systems integration projectsMust possess demonstrated expertise in industry resource planning and management tools such as MS Project or equivalent project planning application. Must possess relevant technical expertise in the industry or a related field to lead a team in execution of noted requirements to include knowledge of troubleshooting methodologies and best practicesMust possess strong business acumen including a strong financial understanding of both cost management and role in generation of revenue, profit, cash.Able to secure a public trust security clearanceMust be a US citizenAble to travel up to 33% (Domestic and International)

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Typically requires a BA/BS or equivalent experience and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience. Generally has 4+ years of experience supervising or leading teams or projects.

Pay Range:Pay Range $126,100.00 - $227,950.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
