The Global Supply Chain (GSC) Strategy Leader is responsible for leading and transforming our global supply chain operations strategy. This role involves the refinement and execution of end-to-end supply chain strategies, including capability and capacity assessments, planning, localization, simplification, and cost productivity projects. The GSC Strategy Leader will support our Cell Culture Media Business and the manufacturing sites on matters of Capacity Planning, Sourcing, Make/Buy, On-Time Delivery and Inventory, including collating and representing associated performance metrics and overall operations performance. This position reports to the VP Operations and is part of the Cell Culture Media Operations team located in Logan, Utah, USA and will be an on-site role. What you will do: + Develop the Supply Chain Strategic Roadmap/Operations Supply Chain Engine to be aligned the Business Unit strategy, considering customer priorities, Policy Deployment (Hoshin Kanri), and Core Value Drivers in collaboration with each Product Segment and Regional P&L. + Define, integrate, prioritize, and launch cross-functional supply chain projects to reduce inventory, enhance capabilities, reduce lead times, and improve cost efficiency. Projects may include Make/Buy decisions, Make Where strategies, automation and localization of manufacturing and warehousing. + Measure and report the impact of projects on Core Value Drivers through Standard Work and established Daily Management and Operations reviews. + Using the Operations Supply Chain Engine, lead the Strategic Operation Review (SOR) with cross-functional and PMO teams to ensure alignment and progress. + Utilize DBS tools to improve the execution of the supply chain strategy, including Danaher Materials System, Danaher Reliability System, Initial Capacity Assessments (ICAS) and execution tools. + Engage early in the New Product Development and Life Cycle management processes in partnership with R&D, Manufacturing Engineering, and Product Management to ensure supply chain readiness. + Collaborate with the cross functional teams to define and plan Inventory, End-to-End Security of Supply strategy, including Sourcing, In Region for Region manufacturing, NPI and Enterprise Resource Planning. Who you are: + Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Supply Chain or a related field with a minimum of 8 years of experience within manufacturing or supply chain. + Demonstrated communication skills coupled with the ability to use tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI and Oracle. + Demonstrated leadership in managing projects effectively using Visual Project Management (VPM) or similar project management tools. + Proven ability to deliver results in ambiguous and dynamic settings with demonstrated interpersonal, teamwork, and networking skills. + Proven mentoring and coaching abilities with demonstrated capability to motivate and inspire teams. + DBS or Lean training/certifications with demonstrated track record of success through the application of tools, kaizen and process rigor. Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role + Willingness to travel internationally and domestically up to 25% of the time. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: + Biopharma or CGMP pharmaceutical or medical device supply chain or manufacturing. + PMP, CPIM, CSCP or other similar certifications. + Oracle, Power BI, AI and other enterprise application tools. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay. We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
