**Summary:**
The Dir., Graduate Medical Education (GME) Operations and Accreditation will work in conjunction with the V.P. GME, CHS central administration, and the individual hospital leadership to plan new program growth and promote/maintain excellence in existing GME programs in alignment with the Company’s overall strategic plan and timeline. The Dir., GME Operations and Accreditation will work alongside the V.P GME and share responsibility for providing oversight and support to the GME leadership at each facility with a participating program; this includes problem solving for program development/maintenance issues, assisting with the facilitation of operations for GME clinical requirements, assessing arrangements for teaching related clinical services, assisting with faculty recruitment and education, and assessing solutions for any other GME related challenges.
***Travel will be required in this role for facility visits and should be anticipated.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
+ Work alongside the V.P. GME to provide leadership and organize resources to excel at the Sponsoring Institution level to comply with ACGME regulations and CHS approved GME policies, operating with substantial knowledge and understanding of the ACGME institutional and program requirements and standards.
+ Work alongside the V.P. GME to provide leadership and organize resources to enable facilities to comply with ACGME regulations and CHS approved GME policies, operating with substantial knowledge and understanding of the ACGME institutional and program requirements and standards.
+ Work alongside the V.P. GME to serve as a liaison and facilitator with hospital medical staffs and administrations to establish an excellent learning environment for the residents and fellows of all CHS hospital residency programs and fellowships as well as to provide an exceptional teaching environment for hospital medical staffs.
+ Help to facilitate faculty appointments where applicable.
+ Assist hospitals to ensure a successful onboarding for PDs, APDs, and faculty as it relates to GME into employment by CHS or however the faculty member is to be employed
+ Work with internal/outside legal counsel, and CHS human resources to assure compliance with all immigration and visa laws and requirements for international medical graduates enrolled as residents and fellows.
+ Oversee the management and job performance evaluation of all personnel in Health Education Service’s Accreditation and Operations side of the organization.
+ Work with Program Directors and Program Coordinators to evaluate and retain graduates of the residency programs within CHS, wherever applicable.
**Qualifications:**
+ Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree required: degree in Education, Health Administration, or related field preferred
+ Preferred Education: Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Education, Health Administration, or related field.
+ Required Experience: Min. 7 years’ experience in GME or GME-associated work.
+ Computer Skills Required: Working knowledge of Google Suite, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
