About the role:

As a Director, Dermatology Insights & Analytics working on the Business Insights & Analytics Team, you will be empowered to motivate and inspire team members to high performance levels. In this role, you will contribute to Takeda’s mission by evolving analytic solutions that bring increased business value to the US Gastroenterology business and Dermatology Franchise.

How you will contribute:

Build, coach and maintain a high performing team of analytical, quantitative and business minded individuals that collectively distill business insights from commercial data sources and primary market research.

Drive strategic decision-making by leading insight driven discussions with franchise heads and marketing colleagues that are future looking, market and competitive intelligence-driven, and flexible enough to meet the needs of evolving portfolio priorities.

Establish and continually evolve the analytical strategy considering platforms, standards and toolsets required to not only meet current traditional analytic practices but also seek out evolving analytic solutions that bring increased business value to the US GI Business Unit & Dermatology Franchise, such as marketing mix, segmentation, targeting/alignment, etc.

Ensure all commercial brands’ analytic needs are met with appropriate resources that consistently deliver on time.

Identify, select and manage a group of trusted vendor partners who can be accessed in cases where their unique skills are the best solution, or as a supplement to deliver outsourced project work in times of peak demand.

Develop relationships with other internal organizations as necessary to ensure the downstream flow of information and data to the team. Continually update knowledge of industry data sources that could be used to improve Takeda’s US Gastroenterology business and Dermatology Franchise commercial analysis.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree required; Advanced degree (Master’s in business, marketing, science or engineering) preferred.

8+ years of progressively responsible marketing, market research, commercial operations, management consulting or related functional experience within the bio-pharmaceutical industry.

Immunology experience preferred.

Demonstrated leadership in a matrix organization, able to motivate and inspire team members to high performance levels.

Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into action; excellent analytical skills and an ability to communicate complex issues in a simple way and to orchestrate plans to resolve issues and mitigate risks

Demonstrated ability to create an environment that inspires and enables people to move the organization forward.

Expert in delivering persuasive presentations and mentoring others in presentation skills

Applies economic theories to analyze market conditions and inform business strategies

 Develops and executes market segmentation strategies to target key customer groups effectively

Proficient in the use of business intelligence tools to support data-driven decision making

U.S. Base Salary Range:

$169,400.00 - $266,200.00

The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location. 

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S. based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
