The Director, Head of HR Systems, Operations & Analytics will lead the strategy, governance, and execution of HR systems, data, and operations. This role ensures HR technology, process design, andanalytics function as a cohesive, scalable, and user friendly ecosystem that enables efficient operations and data driven decision making.
This leader will oversee the current HR technology landscape, including UKG, iCIMS, Cornerstone, Culture Amp, and benefits administration systems while shaping the long term digital roadmap for HR. They will drive modernization, system integration, automation, and responsible use of AI to improve efficiency, accuracy, and insight across all HR processes. We'll trust you to:
Systems Strategy & OwnershipLead and oversee the full HR technology ecosystem, including UKG, iCIMS, Cornerstone, Culture Amp, and other integrated tools.Define a forward-looking HR technology roadmap that anticipates business needs and identifies opportunities for system consolidation, modernization, and automation.Collaborate with IT and external partners to evaluate, implement, and optimize technologies that enhance HR effectiveness and the overall employee experience.Maintain robust governance across system configuration, access, data integrity, and security.Serve as the central point of contact between HR and IT for all HR technology initiatives.Ensure all HR systems are integrated and optimized within the HR technology ecosystem to enable accurate, efficient, and employee-friendly operations.HR Operations & Process ExcellenceLead the design, optimization, and execution of core HR operational processes, including onboarding, offboarding, data changes, job management, employee transactions, and timekeeping management.Establish standardized workflows, SLAs, and documentation to ensure compliance, consistency, and scalability.Drive process improvement initiatives that simplify workflows, enhance efficiency, and improve service delivery across HR and the business.Partner closely with HRBPs, Talent, Payroll, and IT to ensure seamless operational execution and an integrated HR technology environment
Data, Analytics & Insights
Own HR data architecture, reporting, and analytics across systems.Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and alignment with enterprise data models.Build and maintain dashboards and analytics that deliver actionable insights on headcount, turnover, and workforce trends.AI & Digital Innovation
Evaluate where and how to leverage AI, automation, and machine learning responsibly across HR processes (e.g., recruiting, engagement analytics, document generation, reporting).Partner with HR and IT leadership to pilot and scale AI-enabled tools that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and decision quality.Ensure adherence to data privacy and ethical standards in all AI and technology applications.Vendor & Budget Management
Manage relationships with HR technology vendors; oversee contracts, renewals, SLAs, and performance.Lead vendor evaluations and RFPs for new systems or enhancements, ensuring ROI and alignment with enterprise strategy.Partner with IT and Procurement to maintain cost efficiency and compliance with company standards.Leadership & CollaborationBuild and lead a high-performing HR operations and systems team.Foster a culture of accountability, service excellence, and continuous improvement.Partner closely with HR leadership to ensure HR systems and operations evolve in support of business and people strategies.Collaborate effectively with peers across HR, IT, and other functions.Compensation
The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. In addition to a competitive base salary, you will be eligible to receive discretionary bonus incentives and a comprehensive benefits package.Anticipated base salary range: $160,000 - $210,000Actual base salary within the anticipated range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and market factors.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in HR technology, operations, or shared services.Proven expertise in HR systems (UKG, iCIMS) is required, with additional experience in Cornerstone, Culture Amp, and benefits administration systems preferred.The ability to assess and implement next-generation solutions that enhance integration, automation, and analytics.Proven success leading system integrations, upgrades, or consolidations across multiple vendors.Strong understanding of HR data governance, process design, compliance, and change management.Demonstrated experience applying AI and digital automation to improve HR efficiency, insight, and employee experience.Exceptional collaboration and communication skills; trusted partner to senior HR and IT leaders.Strategic thinker with hands-on operational rigor; able to translate business goals into practical system and process improvements.
