How you'll make an impact Job Summary A Director in our Health Practice ensures the effective client delivery of Buck’s services to drive revenue, expands client relationships, nurtures prospects and selling opportunities, and creates a team environment that leads to high levels of employee satisfaction and employee retention. Main Responsibilities Accountability Client Management Participate in developing creative, strategic, proactive, and technically correct advice to clients Display strong written and oral communication skills including the ability to articulate complex concepts Excellent project management and problem solving skills Actively participate in client meetings to gather information, establish needs, clarify expectations, develop strategy, and obtain feedback Contribute to advancement of the firm by sharing best practices Financials Ability to create, present financial concepts to clients and articulate Buck recommendations and best practices Manage client assignments representing a significant block of business Contribute positively to Health practice Assist in preparation of schedules and budgets resulting in on-time, profitable projects Practice work habits and communication skills that ensure assignments are profitable Business Development Routinely identify client needs and opportunities to introduce or cross-sell Buck products and services Participate in proposal drafting and new business presentations Develop professional and personal relationships with client and prospect contacts. Promote visibility of Buck and develop contacts through speaking engagements, publications and other participation in industry and professional associations. Demonstrate knowledge of the market and competitors, and what sets Buck apart People Mentor and train team members, continually focusing on developmental opportunities. Network within Buck (including other offices) demonstrating support and respect of Buck peers. About You Required: Bachelor's degree, 1 year related experience, and appropriate insurance licensing required OR Bachelor's degree, participation in Gallagher's Sales Internship Program (GSIP), and appropriate insurance licensing required OR High School Diploma/GED and 6 years experience. Preferred: Professional designation may be preferred, including CEBS, CPCU, CIC or ARM. Behaviors: Act independently with minimal direction. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
