Director, Healthcare Payor and Reimbursement

The purpose of this role is to manage ManpowerGroup’s relationships with payors, develop new managed service solutions, and ensure compliance with reimbursement models. This role’s expertise in Medicare and Medicaid will optimize revenue cycles and enhance the financial performance of our healthcare services.
Making an Impact
1. Payor Relations:
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with Medicare, Medicaid, and private payor representatives.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with payors to maximize reimbursement rates.
2. Reimbursement Models
• Analyze and interpret various reimbursement models, including fee-for-service, value-based care, and bundled payments.
• Provide insights and recommendations to leadership on reimbursement strategies and policies.
3. Managed Service Solutions:
• Lead the development and implementation of innovative managed service solutions that align with payor requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design services that improve patient care while optimizing clients’ financial outcomes.
4. Epic Charge Capture:
• Oversee the build and optimization of Epic charge capture processes to ensure accurate billing and compliance.
• Work closely with IT and clinical teams to enhance the functionality of charge capture systems.
5. Data Analysis and Reporting:
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends in reimbursement, payer performance, and operational efficiency.
• Prepare and present comprehensive reports to stakeholders, highlighting opportunities for improvement.
6. Regulatory Compliance:
• Stay informed about changes in Medicare and Medicaid policies, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on reimbursement processes and compliance requirements.
People Leadership
• Initially, this role will not manage a team. Over time, they may need to add Consultants to their team to scale the new offerings
Your Typical Day and Other Key Details
• Remote work, located in the US (Central or Eastern Time Zone preferred)
• Regular travel across the US to meet with clients
Required
• Ability to travel across the US, including driving and flying
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, finance, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a payor relations or reimbursement role within the healthcare industry.
• In-depth knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial reimbursement models.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing managed service solutions in healthcare settings.
• Strong understanding of Epic systems, particularly in charge capture build and optimization.
