What you’ll do:

As a Director, Hospital Support Services, you will oversee and manage the Environmental Services, Food and Nutrition, and Laundry & Linen functions across the enterprise. They optimize and manage operations in collaboration with site-level leadership, establish and uphold quality standards and company-wide leading practices, and maintain compliance with regulations. Additionally, they provide subject matter expertise for sourcing decisions and third-party vendor management, engage with stakeholders and operational leadership, and drive enterprise-wide adoption and compliance to policies

Responsibilities:

·         Manage operations across in-scope functional areas, including financials, workforce / staffing, service levels, quality, reporting and KPIs

·         Develop and implement leading practices, strategic plans, policies, and improvement initiatives

·         Optimize cost and operations through utilization management, waste reduction, process standardization, etc.

·         Maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and contractors, seeking opportunities for continuous improvement and mutual success

·         Provide leadership and guidance to site leads, department managers, and front-line staff, fostering a collaborative cross-functional team environment

·         Engage with local owners and stakeholders to capture their inputs and ensure their needs are considered in enterprise-level decisions, including sourcing strategy and operational changes

·         Collaborate with other departments to optimize patient experience and outcomes

·         Performs other duties as assigned.

What you’ll need:

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field 

EXPERIENCE:

·         Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in healthcare support services management or hospital operations
