Director, HR

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Country Head for Manila and VP HR for Corporate, this will serve as a key business partner and key member of the Manila leadership team, contributing to the organization’s business strategy, direction and overall success. This is a hands-on role that is responsible for leading the HR activities, processes and systems. Defining, developing and implementing strategic HR initiatives to influence the site’s success. Responsible for providing insights, guidance and expertise that aids in the development of location’s HR initiatives and priorities; and provides leadership in the effective implementation and desired outcomes/KPIs for their site / business. Acts as a liaison on HR matters between the areas of responsibility and Manila HR.

 

Responsible for leveraging their experience to manage and execute the full scope of talent acquisition, workforce planning, leadership development, building a high quality diverse leadership pipeline, succession planning, performance management, associate engagement, workforce diversity and inclusion.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Drive Regal Values by creating a culture of integrity, responsibility, diversity & inclusion, customer success, innovation with purpose, continuous improvement, performance and a passion to win all with a sense of urgencyConducts workforce planning based on strategy and leverage data and analytics to identify priorities.Assesses needs and draws connections across the business; identifies implications from a talent, structure and skills requirements.Works with management in developing organizational design and restructuring plans to optimize resource allocation.Develops and leads talent management initiatives to establish a robust pipeline of diverse leadership talent.Leverages talent (facilitator) to identify opportunities for developing leadership talent.Key partner in facilitating the development and execution of experience based development plans for high potentials.Manages the talent review and succession planning process; provides expertise and guidance to the business leadership and HR teams.Implements actions to create a highly engaged, high performing, and inclusive work environment across the area of responsibility.Responsible for overseeing the Local HR Operations and Talent Development TeamsDrives and aligns global employee lifecycle programs for local implementation .Ensures competitiveness of compensation and benefits for Manila employees. Analyzes compensation data and evaluates job positions to determine classification and salary, in coordination with global compensation and benefits team.Demonstrates the use of 80/20, continuous improvement and deliver results aligned with the Manila and HR strategy, including KPIs.Based on previous HR Business Partner experience, is able to provide coaching to employees and Manila leaders.Ensures strong HR capabilities, leads in the selection, development and evaluation of HR talent.Experienced to provide strong oversight on daily or complex employee relations investigations and resolution of major issues.Key advisor and coach on appropriate HR practices and policies; insures implementation and compliance.Identifies opportunities to simplify processes and enhance value of HR to the business.

 

Education / Experience / Skills:

The successful candidate will have proven experience in developing collaborative relationships across all levels of the organization. This leader must have the passion, energy and intellectual curiosity necessary for a fast-paced, growth-driven environment. Be able to employ forward thinking and have the ability to expeditiously execute global projects and programs.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree required in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Organizational Effectiveness or related field (Master’s degree preferred).10 Years progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. 3-5 Years experience in HR business partnering within a shared service operation is preferred.Demonstrated experience in strategic HR planning, talent management, and organizational development.Proven track record in employee relations, compliance, and policy development.Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations in the Philippines.Expertise in developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with business goals.Experience in conducting salary benchmarking and maintaining job evaluation systems to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.Demonstrated track record of partnering with senior leaders to develop and implement talent strategies that produce measurable outcomes and drive business results.Exceptional leadership and people management skills, including the ability to motivate and inspire teams.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in using HR metrics to drive decisions.Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.Cultural competence and the ability to manage diverse and cross-functional teams.
