The primary purpose of this role is to lead HR project portfolio management – a broad view to organizing, assessing, and completing HR projects to enhance return on investment. The role requires partner management to promote visibility, awareness, and alignment across HR disciplines and other functions of the Enterprise ensuring we efficiently and effectively prioritize, resource, communicate, and implement HR projects.
Responsibilities:
+ Be responsible for the successful implementation of HR initiatives through the portfolio management process, including project intake, prioritization, budget, change management, and resource allocation.
+ Ensure alignment between the project portfolio, Enterprise, and functional goals.
+ Balance the availability of required skills across project teams within the HR project portfolio.
+ Effectively provide audience specific regular updates including Sr. leaders using KPI’s, metrics and data visualization to track and report portfolio performance, measure success, and support decision-making.
+ Continuously review and optimize the portfolio to align with evolving Enterprise and functional goals, internal opportunities, and trends.
+ Facilitate clear communication and collaboration between project teams and customers to ensure project progress and meet timelines.
+ Complete regular project health checks, risk assessments and stop/start/continue reviews to ensure significant delivery and sustainment. Join us in making the world a brighter, happier place through the power of fragrance
+ Understand the capabilities and resource capacity of the HR function.
+ Work closely with cross functional partners to drive visibility, awareness, understanding of change impact, efficiency, effectiveness, cost, and compliance for all HR projects.
+ Develop and implement project management methodologies and best practices to build on the team’s skills and abilities.
+ Track progress of functional goals in partnership with HRLT including preparation of EC and Board of Director materials.
+ Be responsible for HR master calendar in partnership with broader HR team, ensuring alignment at the Enterprise level including identifying EC, SVP+ and all associate touch points for alignment and/or key messaging.
Qualifications
+ Minimum of seven years’ experience in leading HR portfolio of initiatives or general multiple large-scale projects with collaboration from various partners.
+ PMP, PMI-ACP, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
+ Effective communication skills including ability to lead team meetings and executive updates
+ Deep project management skills including creating and leading tools that drive clarity and accountability.
+ Prior experience leading enterprise projects including budget development and oversight.
+ Capability to quickly develop a deep understanding of the business.
+ Sound decision making based on using data and analytics to understand trends as well as impact of actions to the business for all decisions made.
+ Results Oriented: Ability to deliver on results – keeping customer needs aligned.
+ Ability to influence autonomously.
+ Experience developing and dissecting processes to drive operational efficiency.
+ Ability to cultivate strategic partnerships and communicate effectively at all levels of the Enterprise both written and verbal.
+ Proven ability to recognize trends and develop recommendations based on data analysis.
+ Ability to remain curious, transparent, and influential with customers and project team members with prior experience working through complex issues.
Education:
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
