Job Summary:

 

The Director, Talent & Culture Technology Strategy will be an essential resource for the Human Resources department. The Technology Strategy Director will work closely with the HR and Information Technology teams to recommend future-state technology strategies to foster a culture of data-based decision-making, streamline HR processes, and enhance the employee experience.

 

Essential Duties/Responsibilities: 

 

Include but not limited to:

Lead the development of Talent & Culture’s short and long-term technology strategy by collaborating with Senior Leadership to identify areas where improvements in efficiency, productivity, or quality can be made, creating and carrying out strategic business plans Be a technology thought-leader in HR, leveraging new technologies – particularly machine learning and AI-based tools – to reimagine HR service delivery.  Research and identify new and emerging technologies that will enhance the organization's operating efficiency and support enhanced customer service Optimize the organization's technology resources and recommend future technology direction and new technology initiatives Partner with Senior HR Leadership to foster a culture of data-based decision-making within HR Within the scope of HR technology, identify, design, and support the implementation of process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability while learning the HRIS system/current HR tools Evaluate existing business technology resources and recommend new technologies or upgrades/enhancements to existing technologies that have the potential to improve business performance Ensure HR’s data architecture supports existing and future requirements of evolving business needs Work with HR Centers of Excellence to consider/evaluate operational dashboards, reporting, and tools such as Tableau, Spotfire, PowerBI, etc. Identify metrics and performance indicators and collect relevant data Build a strong collaboration with the IT Data and AI team, ensuring HR’s technology strategy remains aligned with overall company strategy Coach and develop direct reports by assessing strengths and developmental needs; provide team with challenging assignments and opportunities for development Ensure technology strategy is compliant with laws/regulations

 

Minimum Requirements:

 

Minimum of 10 years of corporate experience, including prior management experience Minimum of 7 years of well-rounded HR experience supporting different areas of the HR function High School Diploma or GED equivalent Experience with business process improvement strategies Experience with any one of visualization tools like Spotfire/Tableau/Power BI or other business intelligence tools Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement

Preferred Qualifications:

 

Bachelor's degree in a technology-related discipline preferred. Master’s degree a plus

Demonstrated ability to influence others and well-developed leadership abilities to create a positive rapport with others Strong organizational skills and comfort interacting with different lines of business, IT and senior management Business intelligence skills Proficient in effectively communicating to a wide range of audiences, both written and oral Ability to evaluate and learn new technologies quickly, keeping up to date on new emerging technologies. Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability in planning, direction, and goal setting for the department or function in alignment with organizational objectives Ability to work with all levels of the company, from front-line employees to senior leadership Broad and in-depth understanding of human resources policies and procedures Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality Demonstrated ability to set priorities and to respond to changing demands from multiple sources Proficiency in working independently in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

Working Conditions:

 

Open office environment Hybrid schedule of 4 days in the office, 1 day remote Minimal required travel to other locations, occasional overnight travel to other offices as needed (15% of the time) Ability to work in an open office environment (sitting, walking, standing, meetings, typing)
