**Job Description**
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Director to lead all aspects of Human Resources for our Sunnyvale, California location. This role will also serve as the primary HR lead/coordinator for our other sites in California and have extended responsibilities for our research and development associates Pittsburgh, PA, and Watertown, MA. The ideal candidate is a strategic and results-oriented HR professional with a passion for building high-performing teams and creating a positive and inclusive work environment.
**Key Responsibilities:Strategic HR Leadership:**
+ Partner with business leaders to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with overall business objectives and regional and global HR teams.
+ Provide expert guidance on organizational design, workforce planning, talent acquisition, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and associate development.
+ Proactively identify and address HR challenges and opportunities within the respective divisions and sites.
**Talent Acquisition & Management:**
+ Manage the recruitment and selection process for key roles, ensuring a diverse pool of qualified candidates.
+ Oversee associate onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a smooth and positive transition for new hires that are compliant with California requirements.
+ Manage associate performance, including contribution dialogs, 9-box evaluations, and addressing performance issues.
+ Develop and implement strategies to attract, retain, and engage top talent.
**Compensation & Benefits:**
+ Administer and ensure compliance with all relevant compensation and benefits programs, including salary administration, compensation transparency, and bespoke bonus programs.
+ Conduct market research and analysis to ensure competitive compensation and benefits packages.
**Employee Relations:**
+ Investigate and resolve associate relations issues, including complaints, grievances, and disciplinary matters.
+ Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes associate engagement and well-being.
+ Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations.
**HR Operations & Administration:**
+ Stay up to date with California labor requirements and ensure compliance across assigned locations in California
+ Functional coordination of HR professionals working in California
+ Oversee the day-to-day HR operations, including data entry, recordkeeping, California payroll and reporting.
+ Audit data accuracy and integrity within all HR systems.
+ Member of the Site Crisis Management Team
+ Coordinate global and regional requirements as needed to support business units
**Site Leadership:**
+ Serve as the primary HR leader for associates in Sunnyvale, CA, Pittsburgh, PA, and Watertown, MA sites.
+ Oversee HR site activities for all associates physically located in Sunnyvale
+ Build strong relationships with site leaders and associates.
+ Address site-specific HR needs and challenges.
+ Foster a positive and inclusive work environment at each site.
+ Employee (IMPACT) Experience ambassador
**Qualifications**
**Basic Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
+ 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role.
+ Proven experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
+ Experience in the software technology or corporate research is highly preferred.
+ Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
+ Experience / knowledge of California labor laws and requirements to ensure compliance across assigned locations in California

+ Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Proficient in building strong relationships and collaborating effectively with all levels of the organization.
+ Proficiency to work independently and as part of a team.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $219,000 - $250,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc. Your Recruiter can share more details about the specific salary range for this position during the interview process.
