Overview We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Human Resources Director with 10+ years of comprehensive experience in driving HR strategies to align with organizational goals. Proven track record in leading teams, optimizing talent management processes and implementing innovative solutions for organizational growth. Expert in compliance, employee relations and workforce planning. This position has primary responsibility to deliver consistent leadership and HR support and consultation to the regional business units in furtherance of H&M Inc.’s strategic business objectives. Emphasis will also be placed on the development of talent at all levels through defined talent management, succession and development programs. Responsibilities Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Strategic HR Business Partner to Business Unit Leadership teams, advising on HR best practices and initiatives to ensure alignment with business goals and objectives. Leading, mentoring and developing team of HR Professionals, establishing clear goals and performance metrics for HR staff, overseeing their professional development and evaluations. Managing employee relations strategies to ensure a positive work environment and consistency across business units. Provide effective coaching, counseling and progressive disciplinary strategies on all employee relations issues, up to and including terminations. Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including EEO, ADA, FMLA updates. Managing legal litigation related to employment issues, partnering with legal counsel as needed, and mitigating risk through proactive HR practices. Directing organizational succession, retention, talent acquisition and workforce plans Leading organizational development initiatives including restructuring and role evaluations to optimize business efficiency and workforce engagement. Assists in the coordination of Benefits Open Enrollment and provides the necessary support and related communication. Provides feedback to corporate HR on the business unit needs and priorities to assist with improving process and/or programs. Looks for areas of opportunity for continuous improvement initiatives that will yield better and more effective results. Find opportunities to engage and add value Partner with leadership to evaluate structure and talent vs. business priorities Develop succession/talent management road map and staffing plan and strengthen core talent capabilities Qualifications Experience: BA / BS in related Human Resources degree or relevant work experience. 6+ years managing others 5+ years within Construction or Utility Environment Previous work experience in a Union Environment preferred.
