JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position Summary:

Reporting to the VP Tax, you will be a key member of the CFO organization managing a group of internal Tax resources and co-source providers.

The Director of Income Tax core responsibilities include:

Ownership of Federal, State, and Local Income Tax.Preparation and review of quarterly global consolidated Tax Provision and Controls.Preparation and review of public-company financial statement disclosures.Management of Tax relationship with Internal and Financial Statement auditors.Management of co-sourced Global Tax Compliance.Preparation of timely forecasts of cash tax and ETR.Continuous technology-supported Tax Process Improvement.Strategic Tax planning and research.

Key characteristics of the ideal candidate include:

Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA requiredAt least 10-12 years of Income Tax experience in a public companyProficiency with US GAAP reporting and compliance requirementsExpertise with ASC 740Canadian and European tax experienceDemonstrated management and leadership skills.Effective and friendly collaboration across tax dependencies including accounting, treasury, finance, business unit management, and others.Travel up to 40% to Charlotte, NC Headquarters

Base pay offered may vary depending on actual location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Supplemental pay types may include commissions or bonus incentives, depending on the role.
