Director, Influencer Marketing
Edible is looking for a Director of Influencer Marketing to join our team! Ideal candidates will have a passion and knowledge of influencer partnerships across all tiers of talent, branded video content, social platforms, digital media, the talent management space, and a proven track record of prospecting, negotiating, and closing deals to support and fulfill the strategic objectives of our clients. We help some of the world's most famous companies evolve, promote and protect their brands through a wide range of solutions, including performance marketing, e-commerce, digital transformation, newsroom strategy and execution, influencer, crisis and much, much more. Our honors range from Cannes Lions for creativity, 2019 AdAge #4 Agency A-List to the Holmes Report for the 2018 Global Digital Agency of the Year and five times as Glassdoor’s “Best Places to Work.” Our success comes from our smart, passionate and curious people, who tell great stories and solve complex business problems day in and day out.Responsibilities:Strategy Development: Lead the design and execution of the influencer marketing strategy, aligned with broader brand and business goals.Campaign Management: Oversee end-to-end influencer campaigns, from initial ideation and influencer selection to content creation, deployment, and performance analysis.Relationship Building: Identify and cultivate relationships with key influencers, brand ambassadors, and creators to build long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams including content, social media, public relations, creative, and paid media to integrate influencer marketing into broader marketing initiatives.Contracting & Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and deliverables with influencers, ensuring all agreements align with legal, financial, and brand guidelines.Performance Tracking: Set KPIs for influencer marketing campaigns, track performance, and optimize based on data insights. Ensure the team is leveraging analytics to refine future strategies.Innovation & Trends: Stay ahead of social media trends, platform changes, and new influencer marketing tools to continually improve and evolve the strategy.Team Leadership: Build, manage, and mentor the influencer marketing team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.Budget Oversight: Manage the influencer marketing budget, ensuring campaigns stay within financial parameters while delivering maximum ROI.Basic Qualifications:At least 6 years working in content development and creation. At least 4 years of previous experience working directly with influencers in a marketing, talent management and/or sales role at a Multi-Channel-Network or comparable agencyA bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience Preferred Qualifications:The ideal candidate will have the proven ability to manage and develop relationships across the social influencer landscape and will assist in the development of campaigns that fit within larger 360 degree integrated campaigns across a portfolio of clients in various verticals across the officeStrong understanding of social media, influencers, content creators and the larger Influencer Marketing ecosystem. Influencer and talent agency contacts at both senior and junior levels requiredKnowledge and experience working across all tiers of influencers (micro, mid, top tier and traditional experts) and nuances of working with eachProven ability to work with clients and manage teams to create strategic and creative influencer campaigns that deliver on KPI’s and drive ROIKnowledge of best practices, tech platforms, tools and processes for influencer marketingUnderstanding of integrating influencer work across teams (ideally with paid, earned, owned, creative etc.)Experience managing teams, establishing goals and ensuring project deadlines are metA passion for pop-culture and its infusion into the consumer brand ecosystemPrior experience in the food & beverage influencer space is preferred Understanding of working with healthcare/nutrition professionals/practitioners/influences is a plus Relentlessly seeks, shares and adopts ideas and best practices in and outside the agencyMakes the complex simple – through brainstorms, workshop and educational summits, you empower others to learn and action your lessonsExceptional collaborator who can work across practices$79,000 - $115,000 a yearAn employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees.
