The Director, Information Technology Location serves as the primary point of contact for a specific location and serves as Director or focal point of information concerning global and local activities, objectives and programs. This position works with local leadership to communicate, reinforce and implement global directives, and manages day-to-day operations. Provides leadership and direction to the IT local team.
Responsibilities• Meet with IT Leadership on regular basis to confirm global directives
• Build strong collaboration and communication streams with local leadership, Global IT team and other Cook facilities
• Direct and develop road-maps accordingly to meet the local needs and fit the global direction
• Act as liaison with internal, inter-company, and global partners
• Ensure performance appraisals, training and development of the local IT team is meet
• Make recommendations for staff and equipment and provide direction into personnel matters
• Collaborate with the global and local IT teams to create and maintain information technology project plans which communicate tasks, milestones dates, status, and resource projects
• Manage prioritization and trade-offs among conflicting business priorities
• Ensure team understands dual role of local and global responsibilities
• Foster and maintain a workplace culture respectful and supportive of individual differences
• Must work and interact effectively and professionally with and for others throughout various levels of the global organization
• Must strictly adhere to safety requirements
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance
• Must maintain company quality and quantity standards

QualificationsEducation/Experience
• Minimum 10 years IT experience in an IT leadership role and/or 5 years IT management experience with Cook Medical
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer informatics orother related field; or experience of such kind and amount as to providea comparable background
• Demonstrated proficiency with standard concepts, practices, andprocedures within the field of web, mobile, and multimediadesign/development
• Demonstrated ability to provide consistent leadership in a team setting
• Demonstrated ability to manage conflict, communication & resources across multiple projects
**Power BI and jBase experience a plus.
Physical requirements:
• Works under general office environment conditions
• Sitting for extended periods, utilizes close visual acuity for working with computers, equipment, etc.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, subject to reasonable accommodation requirements under the ADA
• Requires occasional early morning or late evening teleconferences
• International and domestic travel as required
