Director, International Marketing

Position Summary

The International Market Manager will have responsibility for international (EMEA, APAC, LATAM) market development for the designated IPT products. Collaborating with various international stakeholders, (Product Management, regional and country-specific commercial and sales managers, marketing communications, regulatory) the principal responsibilities will include providing the product management regional country-specific market requirements and develops portfolio positioning that directs local country-execution (product launches, regional promotions, digital support).

 

 

 

Duties

1. Creates, manages, leads and executes marketing strategies consistent with the corporate strategies and objectives and in support of achieving established revenue, margin, and market share goals and driving leadership positions in the market
2. Researches, obtains, and effectively utilizes detailed analysis techniques and data regarding industry structure, segment sizes, growth opportunities, competitive landscape, feasibility, profitability, product/company positioning, Voice of the Customer, Customer insights, market environment, and other critical areas. 
3. Accellerates new product development. Leads the creation and development of product / brand position and awareness. Optimizes product / brand value and growth.
4. Delivers product to market through strategic marketing, communications, promotions, training, and other effective methods in support of achieving the value proposition and future brand/product growth and sustainability.
5. Develops and manages mid-range business plans, key metrics, and yearly budgets. Monitors progress and sets corrective actions where necessary. Reports on key performance measures, actions and specific issues on a regular basis.
6. Provide direction, guidance, and counsel to direct reports.

a. Selects, guides, and develops a team of highly skilled, high caliber Product Managers and Associate Product Managers.

b. Ensure consistent direction and information sharing within teams.

c. Serve as mentor, provides guidance, support, development opportunities, and feedback to develop a highly skilled, proficient marketing team.

Education Degree Master's Degree in Marketing or Communication Required Experience

Work experience requirements:

- Master degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field

- MBA strongly preferred

- 5 years of relevant business experience

- 5 years of experience in marketing (medical device marketing experience preferred)

- 2 years of international business and marketing experience required

 

Skills and/or business competencies:

- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills

- Demonstrated effective strategy implementation, planning, organizational, leadership, employee development, and project management skills.

- Fluent in Microsoft Office Applications

- Fluent in English
