Director, iShares Brand Strategy & Activation
**About this role** BlackRock's Global Brand team seeks an experienced marketing leader to join our team and shape the future of the iShares brand. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in brand strategy, global marketing activation, and agency management, along with exceptional leadership capabilities. **Team & Impact** As part of the Global Brand team, you'll be an integral part of a dynamic marketing organization, collaborating closely with regional and local marketing teams around the world, as well as other marketing partners and creative agencies. As a steward of the world’s largest ETF issuer brand, your work will help put more financial opportunity in the hands of more people. **Key Responsibilities:** **Brand Strategy** : + Develop and execute comprehensive brand strategies that align with company goals and drive brand growth. + Monitor brand performance, analyze data, and make strategic decisions to enhance brand equity and market share. + Conduct market research to identify trends, insights, and competitive landscape. + Manage the brand and support global brand strategy, building towards a distinct, differentiated, and relevant brand. **Brand Management:** + Partner with activation teams to create brand content across all channels. + Implement and enforce brand guidelines to maintain brand integrity. + Develop and maintain the tools and training required to support the consistent understanding and execution of the brand strategy, architecture and identity system. + Manage internal initiatives to ensure the brand is understood and celebrated across the organization. **Agency & Creative Platform Management:** + Oversee the management of the firm’s global creative agency, including scoping, contracting, and day-to-day leadership + Oversee the development, roll-out, and evolution of the global brand platform + Work closely with regional marketing leaders and teams to implement and adapt the global strategy **Leadership:** + Provide leadership and strategic guidance to cross-functional teams, particularly regional marketing teams + Participate in strategic planning and decision-making at the senior management level. + Drive innovation and continuous improvement in brand management practices. + Consistently seek to enhance marketing effectiveness by tracking brand health. **Qualifications & Experience:** + 15+ years of experience in brand strategy and/or campaign management, either in-house or at an agency. + Proven track record of developing and executing successful brand strategies and campaigns. + Excellent project management and organizational skills. + Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. + Detail-oriented and results-driven. + Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. + Strong leadership and team collaboration skills. For New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$173,500.00 - USD$270,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits.
