Marvell Technology is seeking a visionary and experienced Director of IT Infrastructure to lead our IT infrastructure strategy and operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT infrastructure, including MacOS and mobile device management, Windows servers, hypervisors, VDI, M365, and Exchange, with the ability to drive innovation and efficiency in our rapidly evolving technological landscape.In conjunction with organizational business units, this role is responsible for the planning, building, delivery, and support of the IT infrastructure program. This Director will provide direction and guidance to the development, specifications, and communications of IT infrastructure processes, programs, governance, platforms, and architecture. Additionally, the Director will provide in-depth consultation to the business units and IT management, assisting in developing plans and direction for the integration of IT infrastructure requirements.
What You Can Expect
Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage systems, and cloud services.Enhance the supportability and user experience of Windows, MacOS, and mobile devices.Ensure the reliability and security of Windows servers and hypervisors.Oversee the implementation and management of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI).Optimize and manage Microsoft 365 (M365) and Exchange services.Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure efficient and secure operations.Evaluate and introduce AI technologies to enhance IT infrastructure and operations, driving innovation and efficiency.Collaborate with other departments to understand and support their technology needs.Monitor and optimize the performance of IT systems, identifying and resolving issues proactively.Manage IT budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions and efficient use of resources.Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and best practices, recommending improvements as needed.Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.Lead disaster recovery planning and implementation.Develop and maintain technology roadmaps to support business goals.Provide direction and guidance to the development, specifications, and communications of IT infrastructure processes, programs, governance, platforms, and architecture.Assist in developing plans and direction for the integration of IT infrastructure requirements.What We're Looking For
15+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management.Strong leadership and team management skills.Extensive knowledge of IT systems, networks, and security.Extensive experience managing Windows, MacOS, and mobile devices at a large scaleExperience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.Coaching Others: Knowledge of coaching and mentoring concepts and methods; ability to encourage, motivate, and guide individuals in learning and improving effectiveness.Continuous Learning: Understanding of the rationale behind the necessity to continually learn and grow and the ability to seek performance feedback and identify approaches to improve own performance and that of others.Executive Presence: Ability to inspire trust and confidence in senior leaders, peers and subordinates through clear, consistent actions and communications. In particular, the ability to synthesize, communicate and ensure alignment of business and technical requirements and strategies across all levels of the organization.Information Security Management: Knowledge of the processes, tools and techniques of information security management; ability to deploy and monitor information security systems, while detecting, controlling and preventing violations of IT security.Results Orientation: Knowledge of the importance of meeting or exceeding established targets; ability to drive critical activities to completion.Staff and Career Development: Knowledge of available internal and external learning resources and ability to address learning, training, and career development needs of individuals, teams or organization.Expected Base Pay Range (USD)
150,500 - 225,500, $ per annumThe successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
