Director, IT Portfolio Management (Information Security)

As a Director, IT Portfolio Management, you will be responsible for the governance, execution, and delivery of the Information Security IT Project Portfolio. We work directly with Business Process Owners, Business Relationship Managers, Project Managers, and partners across IT ensuring our assets, resources, and processes enable the delivery of business value. You will collaborate with the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and their leadership team on business unit priorities and act as a catalyst for IT PMO excellence.
**In this role, a typical day might include the following:**
Monitor and assess project portfolio health, communicate status, risks, & issues to IT leaders, business partners and PMO Management peers.
Develop and manage budgets, financial forecasts, monthly accruals, and provide collaborator financial reporting.
Organize and lead quarterly business reviews with key internal partners and portfolio leadership peers.
Attend project specific status meetings, monitor progress, proactively coach, and support the needs of your project management teams.
Partner with Information Security leaders to ensure our legal, financial, and sourcing priorities are balanced.
Lead 1-on-1 meetings with project managers and other key personnel.
Identify resourcing needs, lead screening, selection, onboarding and training activities.
Thoughtfully contribute to the PMO center of excellence cohort.
Foster Collaborator relationships and consistently review demand management pipelines.
Develop and grow cross-department IT relationships
Champion Regeneron PMO best practices, processes, and execution methodologies (waterfall, agile, and others).
Drive user adoption and sustainment through change management, training, and partner engagement.
Train, coach, and lead IT teams by example on processes and procedures.
Work closely with partners and vendors to develop detailed solutions, discuss and solve issues, address questions and drive improvements.
Analyze complex problems where analysis of situations requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.
Translate analysis into solutions grounded in business value and stated in business terms.

To be considered it is required to have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field with at least 15 years of progressive experience in IT project, program, and portfolio management. Of this 10+ years resource management experience and 5+years managing major programs or portfolios in Information Security is required.
Experience in pharmaceutical industry, specifically IT. PMP or Prince2 certification and Information Security PMO experience preferred
Additional experiences include:
• Domain Expertise in Project Management Office, Project, Program and Portfolio processes, SDLC processes (waterfall and agile) and governance practices.
• Experience with a wide suite of PPM tools such as: Microsoft Project, Jira, Confluence, Changepoint, Planview, ServiceNow PPM or Smartsheet.
• Hands-on Project Management experience with enterprise-wide software implementations.
• Experience developing and managing annual IT budgets and familiarity with financial principles (CapEx, OpEx, Accruals, return on investment, ROE, NPV, etc.).

$180,400.00 - $300,700.00
