In this role, you will work closely with a business-aligned team and key business partners to meaningfully engage the 9,000+ associates across the Fidelity Fund and Brokerage Operations & Technology business unit, which supports technology, operations, and clearing and custody services for the firm.

The Role

Collaborating with Corporate Affairs, business unit leaders and functional partners you’ll drive strategy and execute impactful communications that align with business line and Fidelity priorities, connect associates to the business strategy, and support organizational and cultural change.
 

You’ll have the opportunity to build strong relationships as you work closely with leaders and teams across the organization to craft speaking points, presentations, intranet content, messaging, and emails across digital and social communications channels and live events. You’ll have opportunities to grow and deliver impact as you partner closely with colleagues in Fidelity’s government relations, public policy, external communications, and social media teams.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

Bachelor’s Degree, 10+ years as a communications professional; experience with executive, internal, or external communications a plus. Strong storytelling, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly to diverse audiences. Experience delivering strategies and communications that effectively support organizational change initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and stakeholder engagement. Proven success building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and business partners. Strong project management skills and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a fluid environment. You can independently drive key components of communications and change management initiatives. You are highly motivated and can thrive in a fast-paced and constantly evolving team environment. You are an innovative thinker who brings a creative mindset to solving problems. You have a strategic approach and can effectively evolve strategies based on feedback.

Relentlessly prioritizing communications against the top strategic initiatives of the businesses and leader(s) you support. Working across Fidelity to align communications and messaging, as appropriate, across business and enterprise-focused teams. Using data to measure the impact of communications you deliver and recommending methods to continuously improve. Meeting Fidelity’s high standards, with strong attention to detail in the areas of accuracy, ethics, legal and compliance.

The Team

Fidelity’s Fund and Brokerage Operations & Technology Communications team is part of the Associate and Leadership Communications organization within Corporate Affairs. Working closely with senior leaders within the organization, we develop communications programs that inspire employees – whether they are client-facing or enabling Fidelity’s business units. As part of the larger Corporate Affairs team, we can connect our work to larger enterprise efforts that reach a range of internal and external audiences.
  Fidelity’s working model blends the best of working offsite with maximizing time together in person to meet associate and business needs. Currently, most hybrid roles require associates to work onsite all business days of two assigned weeks per four-week period. Reminder: Per the Dynamic Working Guidelines, approved exceptions will be reviewed annually, or when the associate accepts a new role, whichever comes first.

The base salary range for this position is $85,000-$144,000 per year.  

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
