Director, Leadership Development
ManTech is seeking a **Director, Leadership Development,** who will report to the Chief Learning Officer, and oversee the design, implementation, marketing, and facilitation of innovative, creative, and scalable high-impact solutions that drive the leadership culture at ManTech. This position is located in Herndon, VA but may be required to deliver or support training in Arlington, VA as needed. When not delivering training or needed in the office, there is flexibility to work from home. This role is a part of ManTech University (MTU), an enterprise learning and development function founded in 2006 and a recognized leader in the learning and development community as an eight-time winner of the LearningElite award from Chief Learning Officer® magazine. The **Director, Leadership Development** will contribute to MTU’s suite of learning opportunities and use a passion for learning and leadership to aid in building diverse teams across the organization. The **Director, Leadership Development** has the opportunity to significantly differentiate our leadership development programming in a way that aligns with our organizational trajectory of solutioning and growth. The successful candidate will be able to innovate the design and delivery of content and learning programs in a way that matures with the organization while recognizing that the criticality of this effort requires both patience and tenacity to obtain senior executive leadership and other stakeholder input. The ability to collaborate and show agility in the design and iteration of the content is critical to succeeding in this role. **Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:** + Architect and execute integrated leadership development programs and processes to drive professional growth and accountability across ManTech. + Collaborate with internal and external subject matter / content experts, business partners and vendors to create and design new content, tools and learning solutions to support ManTech’s Leadership Framework. + Consult with ManTech leaders and HR business advisors to understand their leadership and management development needs and the appropriate sponsorship, engagement, and alignment. + Support talent management initiatives such as succession planning and high-potential identification. + Track and drive measures of success and impact through feedback surveys, post-assessments, links to employee engagement, etc. to validate the return on investment (ROI) and communicate effectiveness to stakeholders and senior executive leaders. + Maintain knowledge of industry trends in leadership development and be able to apply to ManTech leadership programming. + Lead the design and implementation of a multi-level learning program that supports an organizational and mindset change impacting all ManTech employees. + Support the design and implementation of a project leadership training program, working closely with the enterprise program management office and project leadership training specialist. + Oversee successful execution of ManTech’s 3-day enterprise-wide leadership development program. + Manage a team of two responsible for delivery and operations. + Engage with stakeholders regularly to ensure content is current, business facilitators are secured, and learning objectives are being met. + Curate on-demand learning content, reading materials and tools to support leadership development at all leadership levels. + Provide facilitation and assessment services as requested. **Minimum Requirements:** + At least 10 years of experience in organizational development, leadership development, learning design or related field. + Proven experience developing and facilitating leadership development programs with topics such as emotional intelligence, coaching, communication, and inclusivity. + Proven experience developing leadership development programs at scale for complex organizations. + Proven track record of planning and executing learning initiatives for senior leaders in global environments. + Ability to think, plan, and execute strategically. + Knowledge of and experience with all phases of the project management lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closing. + Experience leading large scale change management initiatives. + Problem-solving expertise with exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills. + Fluency in Excel data analysis (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and being able to analyze and present findings to business stakeholders. + Consultative mindset and comfortable asking probing question to identify and predict challenges that are not overtly apparent. + Demonstrated ability to build trust and foster constructive, collaborative relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to identify talent gaps and architect potential solutions. + Ability to translate abstract concepts into innovative, practical solutions within a dynamic environment. + Strong knowledge of adult learning delivery methods and principles. + A critical thinking mindset to identify and proactively solve problems independently and with colleagues across the organization. **Preferred Qualifications:** + A Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in organizational development, business, education, or related field. + Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification or other project management credential. + Experience in government contracting and/or federal solutions integration. + Experience delivering and interpreting leadership assessments such as EQi, DiSC, Strengths Finder, etc. + Experience with Workday, Skillsoft/Percipio, Microsoft Office Suite (SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams), and Slack. **Physical Requirements:** + Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity tool. + The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. + Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
