We are looking for a strategic and experienced Logistics Director to lead our supply chain operations and ensure the seamless delivery of goods and services. WHAT YOU WILL DO:

\n

To perform this job successfully, one must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:

\n\nDevelop and implement strategic supply chain plans and processes to establish a resilient supply chain.\nMonitor, evaluate and improve the performance of all logistics, storage, and order fulfillment processes.\nNegotiate contracts and agreements with all 3rd party freight, storage, and logistics providers.\nAccountable for cost and efficiency control on over $15M annual spend.\nMonitor transportation and storage costs and ensure quality of deliveries.\nIdentify areas for improvement and cost-savings.\nDevelop, implement, and review logistics and warehousing policies and procedures, including those related to order fulfillment.\nEnsure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.\nBuild, maintain, and manage a team of professionals capable of consistently discharging the duties of their respective positions and achieving company KPI’s.\nCreate and maintain robust policies and procedures to ensure high reliability for growing customer slate.\nContinuously evaluate geographic storage locations and update plans as needed.\nEstablish department KPI’s for productivity, speed, and order accuracy.\nOther duties as assigned.\n\n

YOUR MUST HAVES:

\n\nMust be 18 years of age or older.\nBachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics or related field.\n5+ years of experience in logistics/warehousing and supply chain management, including people management.\n10+ years in logistics and/or warehouse operations.\nStrong knowledge of logistics and warehousing processes, systems, and regulations.\nStrong negotiation and people skills.\nExcellent problem-solving, organizational and communication skills.\nProven ability to motivate and manage teams.\nProficient in Microsoft Office.\nAble to travel domestically.\nDetailed oriented.\nExcellent prioritization and multi-tasking skills.\n\n

WHAT WE PREFER YOU HAVE:

\n\n5+ years of budgeting experience and managing budgets.\n5+ years of inventory control and warehouse management experience.\n5+ years of experience managing 3rd party carriers (in-bound and out-bound freight).\n5+ years of experience managing 3rd party warehouses\nProven ability to consistently deliver on KPI’s.\n5+ years of experience managing other managers and/or supervisors.\n5+ years of experience in analyzing metrics.\n\n

OUR ENVIRONMENT:

\n

Primary work environment for this position will be in an office setting, but duties will occasionally require activities to be discharged from a warehouse environment.This position will manage team members in multiple locations (Kieler, WI and North Little Rock, AR) and third parties relationships.
