Director, Maintenance & Reliability

**Description**
This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and championing the maintenance & reliability strategy for the organization. The strategy will provide the M&R team with the ambition, metrics, and implementation framework to ensure asset reliability across the organization. Improved asset reliability will support a step change in overall equipment effectiveness and help the global supply chain team achieve world class manufacturing excellence.
The role of the Global Maintenance & Reliability will lead and be accountable for the following key Global Supply Chain initiatives:
•Develop strategic direction and plan for Asset Reliability across the organization
•Accelerate TPM by providing AM / PM methodology, tools, and coaching
•Develop value added preventive maintenance plans for critical equipment
•Create standardized work management processes for planning and scheduling maintenance work
•Ensure computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) has standardized work-flows and procedures for work order management, asset classification, and spare parts management
•Establish robust Breakdown Analysis process to identify root cause of breakdowns and prevent repeat failures
•Develop technical competence building plan and ensure effective succession planning for technical team
•Establish maintenance investment strategy to drive maintenance as a profit center for the organization
•Use Zero Based Budgeting methodology to identify correct spend and eliminate waste
•Drive continuous improvement of maintenance plans and practices to optimize spend effectiveness
•Develop plan to minimize risk of obsolescence and proactively renew asset base
•Implement best practices for spare parts inventory control and critical spares management
•Facilitate cross-functional alignment between M&R and stakeholders across the organization
•Build effective relationships with all key SC and Business Functional Leaders. Ensure effective communication (written & verbal) and “positive visual leadership” throughout the organization; Drive collaboration and teamwork. “Empower, Enable and Engage.”
•Synchronize strategy between Autonomous Maintenance (AM), Planned Preventative Maintenance (PM), Quality Maintenance (QM), Early Management (EM) of new equipment, continuous improvement (CI), Health, Safety and Environment (EHS) of the workplace, and Educating & Training (ET) pillars.
•Integrate emerging Industry 4.0 technologies and digital solutions into standard ways of working
•Identify and evaluate opportunities for application of predictive maintenance technologies, IoT capabilities, and other digital solutions
•Create user friendly systems to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration across the organization
**Qualifications**
+ Ability to work in manufacturing operations / supply chain environment. Minimum of 10+ yrs. of work experience within Manufacturing-Supply Chain.
+ Proven track record of driving collaboration and building effective relationships. Must be energetic, driven and passionate, and able to cultivate a fast-paced, change-oriented workplace
+ Demonstrates appropriate level of "business acumen" that will enable the individual to create, manage, and leverage relationships with corporate and functions external to the site such as R&D / TSO, Plant QA / Brand QA, Engineering, MFG Engineering, Supply IT, and key leaders within our Brands.
+ Has a strong understanding of the manufacturing processes, understands and has training in TPM methodologies and supports process improvement.
+ Demonstrated knowledge, expertise and experience working within an SAP environment and the respective business processes
+ Possesses strong communication skills and the ability to influence and develop solid business working relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders. Thrives in a very fast paced, complex environment and can deal with ongoing, conflicting, and multiple priorities.
