**Description** Principle Objective: The Director for Education and Talent Development is responsible for the conceptualization, development and execution of Beauty Advisor, Counter Manager and Field Executive training programs, support tools and Talent Plus initiatives responding to North America (NA) regional needs. ACCOUNTABILITIES: ⁃ Review all programs issued by Global Education and adapt for NA region. ⁃ Conceptualize, develop and write NA⁃driven training materials. ⁃ Develop and communicate selling and service strategies for seasonal initiatives. ⁃ Manage and develop one direct report in the creation and production of all education tools and materials and other job functions. ⁃ Actively participate in social media platforms to drive engagement, recognize and coach the Estée Lauder field team and Beauty Advisors. ⁃ Develop and maintain awareness of current industry trends through store visits, mystery shopping, and following key social influencers. ⁃ Plan, oversee, and execute Field Executive Orientation. ⁃ Provide ongoing strength management coaching and tools for the field to help them identify, develop and retain top talent ⁃ Point person for Talent Plus vendor and TalentBank, represent Estée Lauder brand for ELC talent initiatives. ⁃ Develop Field Executive classroom facilitation and in⁃store coaching skills ⁃ Cascade and facilitate Education and Talent Development programs in key meetings including Education and Sales Conferences. ⁃ Partner with VP of Education, Director of Education and Field Execution, RVPs, and Field Directors on execution of all Education programs. ⁃ Analyze and report on the impact of Education programs on sales results. ⁃ Partner with Director of Education Services and provide direction for NA development budget. ⁃ Partner with Director of Education and Field Execution to meet specific retailer needs. ⁃ NA Point person for Global Education Development (give feedback on programs, participate in brainstorm meetings as requested, communicate NA⁃specific needs) ⁃ Partner with Special Events, Marketing, Account Management, Creative Operations and Legal teams to ensure consistency of message and accuracy of product information and strategic objectives. ⁃ Partner with Education Services on production/execution of seminar needs and materials. **Qualifications** Minimum 8 years prior experience in training and education. ⁃ Strong conceptual skills. ⁃ Excellent facilitation and presentation skills. ⁃ Fundamental knowledge of strength management. ⁃ Must be articulate and possess a professional demeanor. ⁃ Excellent written and verbal communication skills. ⁃ Proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office applications. ⁃ Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment and respond with sense of urgency. ⁃ Ability to work well independently and with a team, attention to detail and accuracy. ⁃ Superior organizational, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
