**Position Overview**
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Market Access and Program Advancement to lead our efforts in expanding market access and advancing our programs. This role is critical in ensuring that our innovative 3D-printed healthcare solutions reach the patients who need them most. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in market access strategies, healthcare policy, and program management.
**Job Duties and Responsibilities**
+ **Market Access Strategy** : Develop and implement comprehensive market access strategies to ensure the successful introduction and adoption of our 3D-printed precision healthcare solutions. Analyze patient pathways and identify barriers to access, developing targeted initiatives to improve access to 3D-printed precision healthcare technologies for more individuals. Work with R&D and business development resources in the Ricoh 3D team to drive and leverage clinical trial and post-market data to help drive insurance reimbursement and physician awareness.
+ **Stakeholder Engagement** : Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, healthcare providers, payers, regulatory bodies, and patient advocacy groups. Collaborate with the clinical advisory board to align program development with current medical standards and practices. Engage with existing customers to gather insights on careabouts and potential solutions that enhance patient care. Develop relationships with hospitals, clinicians, and MedTech organizations to understand and integrate their needs into program advancements.
+ **Advisory Board Management** : Oversee the engagement and activities of the clinical advisory group made up of physicians and industry experts. This includes coordination of events, collection of clinical advice, program development, and overseeing public-facing activities of this group.
+ **Marketing Management** : Function as a liaison between Ricoh 3D for Healthcare and the Ricoh North America Marketing Organization. Strategically plan and drive marketing activities, including press releases, webpage updates, face-to-face events, webinar coordination, social media posts, thought leadership articles, and brochures.
+ **Policy Advocacy** : Advocate for favorable healthcare policies and reimbursement frameworks that support the adoption of 3D-printed medical devices. Manage relationships and lead strategy with associations and lobbying efforts (e.g., Additive Manufacturing Coalition). Oversee the revenue cycle and billing programs to advise our customers on ways to gain reimbursement from healthcare providers. Lead and manage relationships between Ricoh 3D for Healthcare and industry memberships and groups (e.g., RSNA SIG on 3D Printing).
+ **Sales and Business Development Support** : Work closely with the sales and business development team to build and deploy go-to-market strategies. Collaborate with the Sales and Business Development leader of Ricoh 3D for Healthcare to ensure maximum effectiveness of resource use for driving market access. Gather feedback from the sales team to incorporate into strategic program and market access decisions.
+ **Co-Innovation Collaboration** : Work with the Innovation team on market access strategies with co-innovation partners. Collaborate with partner marketing teams to synergize messaging and go-to-market strategy.
+ **Portfolio Strategy Support** : Build market access strategies and content for new products and services as they are launched and throughout the product lifecycle. Work with portfolio, R&D, and business development teams to provide input on pricing in accordance with payer policies.
+ **Program Advancement** : Lead the development and execution of programs aimed at advancing the use of 3D-printing technology in healthcare, including pilot programs and partnerships. Direct the preparation of market access materials, such as value reports, to effectively communicate the value proposition of 3D-printed technologies to various stakeholders. Strategize and implement initiatives to advance the 3D-printed precision healthcare technology program. Research and collaborate with organizations to get the Ricoh 3D for Healthcare program message in front of targeted audiences (e.g., sponsorship opportunities).
+ **Market Research** : Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities and challenges in the healthcare market, and develop strategies to address them. Stay informed about the latest advancements in 3D printing technology and healthcare to continually innovate and improve the program. Monitor industry trends and policy changes to anticipate market access challenges and opportunities, and adapt strategies accordingly to maintain competitive positioning.
+ **Cross-Functional Team Leader** : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate market access considerations into product development. Establish and maintain relationships with regional and global market access teams to ensure alignment of strategies and sharing of best practices.
+ **Budget Management** : Oversee budget planning and management for market access and program advancement initiatives.
+ **Performance Metrics** : Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of market access and program advancement efforts. Monitor and report on the program's progress, challenges, and successes to stakeholders and senior management.
+ **Other Responsibilities** : Oversee the creation and execution of detailed project plans, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met. Manage a team of specialists or external vendors as business needs require additional resources. Represent the organization at industry conferences, workshops, and networking events, presenting on market access initiatives and the impact of 3D-printed technologies on patient care. Promote the program and explore new opportunities for growth. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements related to market access. Other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Certifications)**
+ Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in business, marketing, or a related field.
+ MBA strongly preferred.
+ 10 years’ experience within healthcare and/or additive manufacturing.
+ Experience in additive manufacturing healthcare preferred.
+ Strong project management skills a plus.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Strong understanding of the organization, its offerings, and its culture is critical.
+ Experience working with and presenting to senior executives.
+ Experience developing co-marketing strategies with partners and customers.
**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**
+ Solid understanding of the different functions of additive manufacturing services.
+ Strong business acumen.
+ Experience in developing press releases.
+ Solid understanding of marketing language in a regulated medical market.

**Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Demands**
+ Minimal physical effort is required. May require walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting, or carrying objects that typically weigh less than 10 lbs. (e.g., papers, books, files, and small parts, etc.).
+ Typically works in an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation, and a normal range of temperature and noise levels.
+ Remote, work-from-home options may be available to certain candidates.
+ Work assignments are highly diversified.
+ Frequent deadlines may impose strain on a routine basis.
+ Position requires up to 25% travel by air, automobile, or train.
