Group/Division Summary:Join Thermo Fisher Scientific’s Materials and Structural Analysis Division, where we advance groundbreaking research and discoveries with our pioneering microscopy, spectroscopy, and microanalysis solutions. Our Semiconductor Business Unit in Hillsboro, OR, focuses on delivering outstanding Yield Learning and Physical Failure Analysis (PFA) equipment.
Position Summary:As the Director, Market Development, Fab Solutions, you will lead our Fab Solutions product lines in the Semiconductor Business Unit. You will drive growth, ensure a flawless customer experience, and lead a successful team in a collaborative environment. Your role is pivotal in crafting product strategies, engaging with customers, and implementing world-class solutions.
Key Responsibilities:Lead the Fab Solutions product portfolio.Develop and implement product strategies.Collaborate with R&D, sales, and operations.Manage product marketing and applications development teams.Drive revenue and business growth.Support sales teams with technical meetings and sales training.Lead long-term planning and industry trend analysis.Qualifications:Science or Engineering BA/BS or equivalent experience; advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred.10+ years in semiconductor capital equipment applications, marketing, or general management.Management experience and expertise in semiconductor processing, SEM, TEM, and wafer inspection.Strong leadership, decision-making, and customer relationship skills.Experience in a global, matrixed environment.Physical Requirements:Ability to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally.
