Summary:
This position is responsible for leading a team of cross-functional matrix partners and engaging with local markets to develop and deliver the brand strategy that will establish strategic platforms for the optimization of products to meet future market needs and to prepare markets for launch. Informs scientific branding and brand development to enable effective communications with customers, and works with medical colleagues to develop relationships with key external stakeholders. The Director will develop relationships with patient advocacy organizations, medical societies and thought leaders within the defined spaces.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for identifying challenges and solutions on adopting novel treatments in key neuroscience diseases, especially in Alzheimer’s DiseaseResponsible for Neuroscience market development activities including clarifying paths to patient identification based on biomarkers or other factors and biomarker adoption as endpointsLiaison with key external Neuroscience and Alzheimer’s influencers on guidelines, and policy-shaping parties including cross-industry coalition effortsClarify the investments needed for increasing diagnosis and shaping product selection through biomarker adoption and diagnostic requirements for Neurologists, Psychiatrists, PCPs and Geriatricians Helps to inform brand planning across marketing, medical, and access for relevant brandsPartners with opinion leaders, advocacy groups, and other stakeholders, external agencies/vendors to reinforce BMS commitment Alzheimer’s and NeuroscienceIdentifies opportunities to shape market through evidence generation and disseminationPartners with WW Value, Access, and Pricing team as needed to enhance the value storyOptimizes the commercialization model driving pull through of global launch strategies and execution excellence to the local affiliates for launches as relevantBuilds strong relationships with country leadership to identify opportunities that will support commercialization and launch excellence for Alzheimer’s and Neuroscience overallBuilds a deep understanding of local market dynamics, including customer and competitive insights, and growth opportunities to drive local market executionQualifications:
BA/BS required; life sciences degree or equivalent desirable.
