The primary areas of responsibility of the Sr. Director, Marketing & Communications of Lawrence General Hospital are to identify, evaluate and develop new marketing opportunities for the Hospital and its related service lines; develop the strategic marketing and communications program that strengthens system branding and grows volume across key service lines; present branding and marketing plans and rationale to senior management, trustees and physician leaders; take the key marketing and communications strategic initiatives through development, prioritization, and implementation working with senior and middle operational and clinical leadership; develop short-term and long-term marketing and communications plans with measurable goals and objectives; identify strategic benchmarks and track performance against those measures; oversee strategy development and tactical implementation of marketing communications, multimedia promotion, internet expansion, PR/media relations and social media platforms, organizational/employee communications, and community relations; and develop and monitor internal and external relationships in order to enhance attainment of programmatic goals, including oversight of community and media relations, and physician communications.
The ideal candidate is a proven marketing and communications strategist and tactician with superb interpersonal communications skills, high integrity, and a work ethic.
Required:
Bachelor's degree required and Master’s degree in Healthcare, Marketing, Communications or related field preferred, 10+ years of progressively responsible, related experience including market planning, market research, marketing communications, branding and advertising, media relations, and corporate communications.
