Holy Cross is looking to hire a dynamic Director to lead the Marketing and Communications Department in accord with the mission and core values of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Health.
Position Overview:
This position strategically leads and manages the marketing and branding efforts of Holy Cross Health and its operating divisions (Holy Cross Hospital, Holy Cross Germantown Hospital, Holy Cross Health Network and Holy Cross Health Foundation) to advance the organization's brand, drive growth and support other strategic priorities.

Location: Holy Cross Health has two hospitals and four healthcare centers all a short driving distance from Washington DC and Baltimore, MD
Key Responsibilities:
This high profile position provides leadership and direction in the areas of brand position, message and creative development; market research; strategic marketing and advertising initiatives targeting consumers, patients, physicians, donors, colleagues and other audiences; marketing in support of fundraising efforts; marketing infrastructure, marketing technology and digital marketing strategy; content strategy, development and channel management; and other marketing, communication and outreach efforts.
This position also plans and manages the marketing budget; leads and directs the marketing team; oversees external agencies and consultants; provides marketing leadership for joint ventures, affiliations and partnerships; establishes marketing policies and practices; evaluates marketing efforts; and works collaboratively across Holy Cross Health and Trinity Health.
The Director of Marketing and Communications will have proven success cultivating collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders across a large and comprehensive health system, including: acute-care hospitals, provider groups, ambulatory services, rehabilitation facilities, and/or senior services.
Reports to: VP, Regional Marketing & Communications
Minimum Licensure/Certification Required:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in an appropriate discipline such as Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Communications or a related field required.
Master's degree in marketing or an MBA preferred.
Minimum of 10+ years of senior level experience leading a team and operating a department that includes marketing, public relations, communications and media, preferably in a healthcare setting.
5 years of digital marketing experience.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
The director will have expertise in marketing/digital marketing, strategic marketing plans, advertising, public/community relations, executive and internal communications, brand management, crisis communication management and organizational and team leadership are essential.
Demonstrated skills in all areas of marketing and communications including but not limited to advertising and integrated marketing campaigns, SEO and SEM, viral techniques, public and media relations, content creation, and leveraging social networks and mobile apps.
Experience in website management.
Financial/budget management skills.
Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication, organizational and planning skills.
Ability to build and sustain relationships with many internal and external constituencies, including the media, board members, executive team, service line leaders, providers and others.
Pay Range: $63.59-95.39
Pay is based on experience, skills and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
